The staff were the most kind, informative and accomodating hotel staff I have ever come across, they let me and my friend keep our bags at the hotel past check out time for free as our flight was later on in the evening, and we were still able to enjoy the patio and seating area. As for the room, it was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely mirror and spacious sink and shower.

FAQs about hotels in Brussels

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

We liked being able to attend a performance at La Monnaie opera house. The hotel was very close by. We loved Grand Place and it is truly beautiful. Many good food options everywhere. Did a Food Tour booked with Viator. In general, loved Brussels.

Good historic buildings and restaurants. Centre of city has become dirty and run down with many empty shops and homeless people. Has changed a lot over the years, not for the better. City Council really needs to get a grip and manage the central area effectively before things get worse.

Brussels surprised us both positively and negatively... it has some very impressive places to see and visit, but for a European city, it was remarkably dirty, loud and filthy. I am not sure whether that is the case everywhere but the area around Madou where we stayed looked rather rough and very busy and loud. It was very easy to use public transport in Brussels as one's bank card was enough to pay for the tickets which worked on the metro, bus and trams. We found buying tciekts on the different categories of trains to go to other cities slightly more complicated to negotiate.

To metropolitan for my family and I.

To metropolitan for my family and I. We like the smaller, historic towns like Bruges. This was a very touristy area, and it was hard to figure out what language to speak as there was a significant mix of languages being spoken. Most people knew a little English, but mostly Italian, French, Dutch, German, and Arabic.

I mainly walked around the city and it was very attractive and interesting although a bit hard to navigate as street names are in 2 languages and the map that only gave limited information which did not make it easy. The train system appears to be good, didn't try the bus service.

Transport in the city is good, the city centre or old market (Grand Place) area is great to wander around. The Gallery building has a great variety of shops and of course chocolate shops everywhere! Never had a bad coffee either! If you want to do the shopping thing with the partner in mind then beyond the old market is the usual array of shops.

The place was very close to the city center and train station. The room was clean and well-designed. The hotel had one of the best breakfasts by European standards. I'd like to specially mention Lorena and Andrea, they helped out with every issue and were very friendly. They were efficiently talking in English and Spanish aside from French which is rare in most parts of Belgium. If I ever visit Brussels again I'll definitely will be staying here.

The location of the hotel is very central and convenient! The room is small and there is not much space to hang or store things, if i had a suitcase or carry on luggage it would barely if not fit at all. But if you only need a room to sleep that is convenient and clean then it is perfect! The price is a bit too high for what you get but in Brussels city centre is difficult to find something cheaper:)

We needed a room in Brussels for 1 night in view of an event we were attending, so we weren't looking for anything fancy, just an affordable room with good public transportation connection to the city center. With this purpose in mind, the room and hotel met our expectations. The hotel felt a little dated but was clean and comfortable overall. Friendly staff. The hotel offers a (paid) parking space.

The strong point about this hotel is it's location. Well connected and close to the city center. Another good thing is that it has some machines from where you can buy a drink or a snack. Good price for Brussels for a 3 starts hotel. However, what you pay is what you get...
