The Chateau is an enchanting place. The rooms and parlours are fascinating. The interior decorations and collections of art are eclectic and pleasing to the eye. The garden is rich in vegetation and peaceful. The Host Phillipe is an amazing, friendly, polite and charming person. He welcomed us warmly and picked us from the airport. His mussels in white wine and home made pasta were delicious. The breakfast has a variety of goodies. Charlotte, the mascot of the property, a protective goose was very funny greeting us each time we went out in the garden.

This was my second visit in 8 days, so I knew what to expect. Each time the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and all the facilities were good. The breakfast was varied, and offered both hot and cold food. Although it didn't affect me during my visits, there is not, as far as I know, any air conditioning in the rooms. On this occassion I stayed in a room at the back of the building, and there was no noise whatsoever. This isn't always so when you are at the front of the place. Even so, its comfortable and welcoming.

Novotel Charleroi Center is located in the city center of Charleroi and connected to the Rive Gauche shopping mall.
