"I absolutely loved my short visit to Brussels. I had been travelling in Europe for a month & had 4 extra days I hadn’t made final decisions on where I would go. A friend recommended going to Belgium to visit Bruges & Brussels & I am so glad I did. I had such a wonderful experience in both places. Brussels was fabulous & 2 days wasn’t nearly enough time. The grandeur of the architecture in the historical area blew me away. When I walked in to the Grand Place square I was in complete awe of the beauty that surrounded me. Then at night to see it all lit up with a purple glow was magical. I explored as much as I had time for & it is a very walkable area. Across from my hotel was the entrance to Galeries Royals St. Hubert - I stoped in to Belairfineart which had a fabulous display of modern art. The food offerings were great - I tried the Belgium fries & they exceeded all my expectations - crispy & delicious with the sweet onion curry sauce. They were so good I went back to Friterie Tabora to stand in line for more the next day. Oh & the chocolate choices are endless with so many decadent shops - most of which provided samples! It would take no time to be on a chocolate high if you sampled at the what seemed like never ending shops as I strolled around the historic city centre. I also was fortunate to take in The World of Banksy exhibit, which I had spotted when I was on the Toot Toot Bus (I’d also recommend the bus to get a tour of the city). If you are considering a trip to Europe I’d highly recommend a visit to Brussels!"
"Antwerp has a nice, small old town center which is wonderful just to walk around in. I found better shopping there than I did in some better known destinations like Bruges. There is a cathedral, main square, a small castle on the river and some really nice small museums. We ended up spending 2.5 days just seeing and doing things in Antwerp and I think could have spent longer. The metro/tram and buses work great for getting around, but its also very walkable if you stay in the center. Antwerp is also well situated for taking day trips in Belgium or even the Netherlands. I think it is underrated as a travel destination. I highly recommend it."
"Bruges is a fairytale! It was beautiful, less busy than other popular destinations, and had so many things to do! We found a lot of delicious food and loved how walkable the city was. Would recommend 10/10. I want to go back!"
"We decided to visit Ghent after Brussels. The history and architecture were amazing. I was not so aware of the city's significance during the middle ages. I would highly recommend either a walking or boat tour to appreciate the city's past and it's ancient buildings. A real gem!"
"Went to Ostend to attend the Ostend Beach Festival. I enjoyed a sunny morning at the beach. It was quite crowded and windy that day, but still a great atmosphere. In the evening, I had a lot of fun at the festival. Overall, I had enough time to relax on the beach, explore the city, and enjoy the beautiful weather."
"Liège is a vibrant and charming city with a great atmosphere. It perfectly blends history, culture, and modern life. The city center is lively, walkable, and full of excellent cafés, restaurants, and shops. We loved exploring the historic streets, the Meuse river, and landmarks like the Montagne de Bueren.
The people are friendly and welcoming, and the city feels authentic rather than overly touristy. There’s always something to do, whether you enjoy food, architecture, nightlife, or simply walking around and discovering hidden spots.
Liège is an underrated gem in Belgium and absolutely worth visiting — we would happily come back!"
"I absolutely loved Leuven. I went during the summer for an academic conference at KU Leuven, and it was my third time in Belgium, my second time visiting (having come for a day trip once before with family). I feel like I could easily spend far more time in Leuven because not only are the sights stunning, but the city's atmosphere and culture make it a blast to stay. I stayed near the primary Leuven train station, which was a wonderful choice. Leuven has a fine bus system, but as long as you're in the city center, it is incredibly easy and safe to walk to almost anywhere you want to see.
In my time there, I was able to watch the World Cup on the public screens spread across the Oude Markt square, relax at an open-air cafe and chat with people I met, attend the local music festival and dance in the town square, and so much more. It was most definitely a place where you can go at your own pace and feel the community on every street. My only complaint is that there was too much to do and not enough time to sleep!"

Let me start with one of the most magical places in the world! I have visi I have visited the best ranked hotel in the world and this place exceeded it with its service hospitality and amazing team! we came here to celebrate our fifth anniversary. They gave us a free upgrade with free, welcoming drinks, the atmosphere of the hotel, the design, the location and the service was was a seven star hotel service! The rooms were specious all well designed a couple of mini lobbies with amazing design! A terrace with the best view of Bruges literally! they had an exceptional breakfast and make sure to get their jobs they offer to sell them to. When we came in Ben gave us a background story of the previous owners of the house, which were the jewelers and how this is their winter home and give us a map of Bruges and explain the best places to get chocolate hidden gems and everything! exceptional place to have a vacation or celebrate an occasion! A special thank you to the team Frederick, Pascale, Arnaud, and Nickola! thank you for making our anniversary a special one definitely will be back soon with our family. Thank you.
