United StatesThe hotel was so beautiful! Modernly furnished, spacious rooms, and a pleasant space to be in. The attention to detail in the room for our comfort, not to mention including toiletries for our children, did not go unnoticed. The breakfast spread was my husband’s favorite part of our trip! Staff was friendly and accommodating for us coming in at a later hour and allowing us to park. Since we had a rental car it was not an issue to not be walking distance into the historic center. I wish we could have stayed here longer! One of the best places we’ve stayed at in a while.

Spacious room, super clean and well designed, surely exceeded my expectations, I wished I could have stayed more! Breakfast was amazing with an outdoor seating with a huge selection. Plovdiv Old Town superb,good shops,the mall is very clean. Happy Bar not far from the accomodation,can always reccomend going to any Happy Bar for good affordable food.No beggars begging on the streets. Lots of new apartment blocks being developed all over Plovdiv.

Both my teammates and I really enjoyed the city of Plovdiv; it is a truly historic Balkan city, featuring numerous ancient ruins and Roman amphitheaters. It is also a cultural hub that hosts many high-quality cultural events. The food is delicious—the vegetables taste extraordinary—and experiencing the local cuisine is a real pleasure. Furthermore, rose-oil-based products are exceptional, ranging from cosmetics to sweets like Turkish delight and rose petal jam. It is a city that creates unforgettable memories for those who visit with an open mind and a respectful attitude toward Balkan culture. The people are warm and welcoming, too. We would love to come back!

We stayed for 4 nights, and we found that after the 3rd night, we were struggling to find things to do. The city centre is clean, and the people in the shops, bars and restaurants were always willing to help. We took a few taxis, and the majority were very good and did not try to rip us off. You have to be careful and agree on a price first.
Very glad we went, we saw some stunning scenery and architecture. That said, in my opinion, a 3 night stay is plenty of time to see what Plovdiv and the surrounding area have to offer.

Roman ruins, (7) hills giving good views of the city. Pleasant parks. Had a nice pizza at Palladium Pizza. A good city to walk around. Football stadium holds international matches. Real ale at Fabric Bar.

The city is so nice very cosmopolitan.
The city is so nice very cosmopolitan. Lovely friendly people great food. Understanding the road and parking signs was quite difficult. And finding official parking was very long. The old town is worth a visit but make sure you have comfortable shoes as its all cobbles . On the whole Plovdiv is a destination you should visit.

Its a beautiful city - we particularly liked the many art galleries situated in houses or other historic buildings - all with an excellent selection of 19th and 20th century Bulgarian art in particular.

All praise for the hotel, starting from the kindness of the staff, the location of the hotel, the interesting facts offered to you from the history of the Roman era in the hotel itself, breakfast and everything else is just praise. We will definitely come back. The hotel's secured parking is a real rarity in the very center of Plovdiv, this is a great advantage. Warm greetings to the entire staff from Ljubiša and Mirjana.

A true gem in Plovdiv! We loved every second we spent at Hotel Hello Plovdiv! Quiet and peaceful, wonderful atmosphere, amazing architecture, helpful staff, great communication, very good breakfast, the best lemonade in the world and good coffee! It’s a 5 star from us!!!

We were very well greeted. Excellent communication in English. Very well guided to enter the old town and park our car.
We were handed out a complimentary cheese plate and 2 small bottles of good Bulgarian wine every night. Breakfast was good and a variety of food items set out on our own breakfast table. Free hot drinks were avaiable all the time.
