Sunny beach has something for everyone, perfect for families with sandy clean beach. Always entertainment in the evenings. Food to suit all tastes and budgets. Bulgaria is a wonderful country for a holiday. Weather is perfect from June to September. Sunny Beach is a lively area.
Sunny Beach is a lively area. Plenty of entertainment in the bars. Food and drinks were very reasonable. I also visited Nessebar Old Town which is a bus ride away ( the cheapest way at around 2-3 Lev ) which is approx 20 -30mins max. Would definitely recommend visiting there. Different to Sunny Beach. The beach was nice: width enough, fine sand, easy water entry, great for families with children. As improvements I would suggest to better clean the beach, and introduce beach showers. As for the rest of Sunny Beach, there are lots of things to do for all type of tourists: from water sports, amusement parks, night clubs, family activities and so on. The Hotel that we stayed in was called Friends Family Hotel and Pub. It was in a good location, close to restaurants and the beach. The food in the hotel had a great choice and was plentiful and great value for money. The part of Sunny Beach that we stayed was really nice. The beach itself was clean with soft sand and clear warm water. The main strip that runs along the whole beach had loads of shops, bars and restaurants so a lot to choose from. I had heard a lot of bad things about Sunny Beach so was very pleasantly surprised. The bus to Nesebar only costs 2 Lev which is less than a one pound and Nesebar Old Town is really worth a visit and definitely plan a full day as there is plenty to see and do.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score

A very good city for families and for people who want to hang out. There are a lot of bars and clubs on the main street. A little dirty in the morning, after noisy parties, but everything will be cleaned by morning. Food was cold till we complained then it was looked into. Hotel was spotless and staff were all excellent. A 7 minute walk to the main sunny beach area or the hotel supplies a free mini bus until 5.30pm. The water park was great too. Rooms(at least the one we had) was really big, clean & comfortable, nice balcony woth pool view. The pool, although smaller than other hotels, was clean and not very crowded. The room was cleaned daily. Hotel staff was very helpful.
