View from our room vastly exceeded expectation and was worth the cost of the trip all by itself. Room was immaculate. Fantastic coffee at The Pulse (in house cafe). Approximately five minute walk to middle of Canmore. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. In-house restaurant was comfortable and food was very good. Can see the creek bed and sometimes elk from the restaurant windows.

A wonderful small town feel with lots of different restaurants selections. The staff at the different restaurants, bars, coffee shops and stores were very friendly and helpful.
Very pedestrian and bike, friendly town I would highly recommend staying in Canmore instead of Banff. You can take public transportation up to Banff or you can rent an E bike and get there in an hour and a half on a wonderful trail system.
We went in May before the summer season starts so the prices were reasonable and the weather was great for us.

Loved staying in Canmore!
Loved staying in Canmore! Tons of great food and accommodations. We did the Nordic spa and a few different things in yoho national park and banff so it was nice to be on the middle. No daily parking fee in Canmore like there is in Banff. We stayed Friday-Tuesday but only paid the banff parking free 2 times $22 each day. And accommodation prices were great so more money to spend on activities!

We didn't spend any actual time in Canmore - it was more of a base for us. Our time was mostly spent in Banff & Lake Louise. You have to be prepared to drive after dinner in a dark and not-so-great highway amongst heavy long trucks. So if this is a problem for you, don't stay in Canmore, or simply have your dinners in Canmore. It's also a pretty long drive to Lake Louise, so if you want to spend more time there, you might have to stay in Banff.

Great location, as a solo female traveller I felt very secure and safe in my room. Woke up to a view of the Three Sisters mountains from my window.
After staying in random motels in my trek across Canada I was so pleasantly surprised by the nice bathroom. The lodging is modest and spare but very nicely done and the price was great. I was anticipating a more chaotic lodging as I have never stayed in a hostel, but my room was very quiet and I slept very well.
Jason at front desk was very pleasant to deal with.
Wonderful 1 bedroom condo. Walking distance to the cute village of Canmore. Great Chinese food restaurant right in the hotel. Great breakfast spot across the street. Plenty of free parking which was a nice surprise. Grace was wonderful to deal with. Very quick at responding to my messages. She even managed to get us to check in early.
Bus stop outside of hotel with direct bus to Banff. Town centre had lots of shops and restaurants. Canmore is a beautiful town and had its own stunning hikes that are well worth doing. Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle and crowds in Banff. Great views of railway and mountains. Room stocked with tea and coffee
The front desk staff was very friendly and polite. She accomodated us to check in early as my husband had to go for surgery at the canmore hospital. Very clean and comfy. The breakfast was very good. Very quiet hotel. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable.
Location is very convenient in Canmore. Easy parking right in front of the hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. No kettle provided but we were able to borrow one from the front desk.
