I rented a room paid for it and I ended up sleeping down the street without being reimbourse because at the end completely of the pagw for the add of the room , the very hided information about a deposit of 250 dol is somehow written and I did not saw this information until 2 days later after screening out the page this kind of information should be written in the policies of the hotel at the beginning not hidden somewhere in a paragraph at the bottom of the page after you clicked on it also especially after reading that no extra fee would be asked at the beginning of the add and that no credit card where required when they do requires one , also it was specifit that in case a credit card would be ask it was ok to use the card of someone else with the acceptation. Of the person so I called my father and ask for this and he agreed and I even let my father talked with the lady at the front and she refuses because the card was not physical, wich is completely absurd and ridiculous since the hotel do not hesitate to take a payment online ( wich is not physical at all but they cannot conclude the rental of a room for a humain being without any other intention then to rest and sleep one night quietly in a bed in security ) even with the card holder on the phone wich is the father of the person. My father is a huge traveler and he never saw nor experienced something like that ever in the world , maybee because he travels first class in better establishment.

FAQs about hotels in Montréal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter time you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground through the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, cinemas and food courts.

From here metros will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the old town and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t fine enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to the Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

    Clean, well maintained city.

Clean, well maintained city. The Underground was cool and unaffected by bad weather. A great urban environment like a Chicago or a really nice New York. A mountain in the city was neat. Lots of places to eat. Uber has lots of drivers and was prompt and works well to get around.

Staying in old Montreal was a real treat!

Staying in old Montreal was a real treat! My friend that traveled with me said it was just like being in Paris! The darling patio restaurants were every where. We enjoyed lunch, happy hour and dinners at all the cute places we ate at. There were many different cuisines to pick from as well as inviting patios. You can't go wrong picking out cozy spots to eat, drink and be merry in old Montreal! A very memorable spot where walking around and discovering was soooo fun!

Using the Metro system of subways and buses was so easy and allowed us to travel to all parts of the city. Spending a day in Little Portugal, or Little Italy was so much fun. Although French is the predominant language, almost everybody spoke English, my native language. We felt like we were vising a city in France, and appreciated the old-world architecture kept in place by such organizations as Save Montreal and Heritage Montreal. What a majestic city!

People in Montreal are very friendly. They didn't mind us not speaking French. St Joseph oratory was a big surprise. They close at 8 PM and don't miss the sunset from the top. Must visit. We walked to old town from the hotel near the Grande Library in downtown. covered many spots including Wheel, Notra Dame , old town , clock tower and beach.

Hotel has the best location bec of the proximity to the tourist spots like Notre Dame, Old Port Montreal, St Catherine Street, Chinatown, etc. Also, the Airport bus 747 will stop just close to the hotel. Its very walkable that we could just go keep going back the European Vibes spots.Across is also a grocery and a shopping mall. There's breakfast too, the price of hotel is fair enough. I would be staying here again when I come back visit MTL💗. Thank you.

It was a nice small hotel with friendly and efficient staff - and appropriate facilities for a business stay of one week. Snacks could be purchased, the laundry room was free of charge, and the small gym. The kitchen corner was well equipped. The neighbourhood is gentrifying, but the location was perfect for walking across the different parts of downtown Montreal.

The room was quiet and well maintained. The breakfasts provided an excellent start to our days touring around Montreal and the location of the hotel was excellent providing easy foot access to downtown, waterfront and Old Montreal visitor highlights, and easy access to the Metro when destinations are farther away. Staff were always friendly, curteous and helpful.
