CanadaWe liked pretty much - everything! We thought we had booked an older motel in the shopping district, but this place was great! Right across the street from a major mall, walking distance to restaurants, pizza houses, etc. The toilet (usually my pet peeve) was even higher off the floor than most motels. Great for older folks.

Penticton has something for everyone.
Penticton has something for everyone. From wineries to craft beer to shopping, beaches, parks, hiking and lakes. Close to other great areas like Oliver and Osoyoos, close enough drive to go touring the Okanagan. Easy to park downtown with plenty of free parking which makes it fun to visit the main restaurants, cafes, cinemas and craft breweries. We loved the Naramata Bench only minutes from downtown and you’re in stunning wine country with magnificent views.

Penticton is a fantastic destination at any time of year.
Penticton is a fantastic destination at any time of year. This recent stay was in the summer and we enjoyed the flat terrain for strolling and the beach walks with our dog (there are great walkways along the lakes in Penticton (Skaha lake at one end and Okanagan lake at the other end of the city).

I absolutely loved my time in Penticton!
I absolutely loved my time in Penticton! Three nights were simply not enough, and I’m already planning to come back next year for a full week.
Dinner at Elma Restaurant (eatatelma) was amazing and a must-try. I fell in love with Skaha Lake and also loved the beauty and atmosphere of Okanagan Lake. The scenery, relaxed vibe, and outdoor experiences make Penticton a truly special place.
We also enjoyed Apres Ice Cream! Blueberry flavour!

Penticton was a gem of a surprise for us.
Penticton was a gem of a surprise for us. We are Alaska residents and this was our first time to drive south to the lower 48 and our first time to visit Penticton, of which we knew nothing. Now I can see this as a destination in itself for it was just the right size for us to have an enjoyable time and not be dealing with very crowded conditions.

Penticton, BC, is a beautiful destination surrounded by stunning lakes, mountains, wineries, and endless outdoor adventures. The city has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere with clean beaches, charming shops, great restaurants, and breathtaking views everywhere you look. We loved the perfect balance of relaxation and activities, from exploring the waterfront to enjoying the local wineries and scenery. The community pride and friendly people made our visit even more enjoyable. Penticton is a wonderful place to create memories, and we would happily return again.

This is a beautiful community located between two gorgeous lakes. Access to fresh fruit so yummy. Always enjoy the shopping....4th year attending the Elvis Festival. The volunteers were wonderful....helpful and friendly. A little disappointed that a number of downtown parking lots required an app but we were able to find a couple near the events that accepted credit cards. Good restaurants with friendly staff.

Although the property was one of the older ones on Lakeshore, We found it to be well renovated and very clean. We will stay here again when visiting Penticton. P.S. Fantastic location for walking the Beachfront, Gardens, Parks, Cafes, Restaurants and of course, Breweries.

The utensils were bamboo and the cups were cardboard. The pool was tiny. The carpets in our hallway were filthy and there was dust and grime everywhere. For a new hotel, it felt poorly maintained.
