Beautifully renovated rooms/building, carefully and thoughtfully decorated. Felt very upscale, from the beautiful wood throughout to the lovely bath products to the fine sheets and towels. Room had a deck with table and chairs and waterfront view. Also on premises: a sushi restaurant and a pub (although pub was not open). Owner note indicated a fitness facility was in the works. Great location facing waterfront park. Loved it!

Glen Lyon Inn is located on the beachfront in Port Hardy. There's a restaurant serving Seafood cuisine, and free private parking is available.

One of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in. The bed was super comfortable and the reception staff were very helpful when I arrived off the ferry at midnight. Great that there was breakfast as well. Only wish I got to spend more time at the hotel - to be able to enjoy it more fully.

Anne the owner was very easy going and generous with helping us store our bikes/gear up until leaving for our ferry. Overall a very convenient experience. Room, community spaces, etc were all well stocked and clean. Thanks!

We have had an amazing time at the Inn. The location is stunning and the views of the bay from the room were amazing. As other reviews mentioned too, for us this was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had somewhere. Fresh crab and prawns, caught by Meshell and Stephen in the bay. And to top that off, we even saw a bear walking along the shore on the other side of the bay while having breakfast. The hosts were always available for recommendations and were very hospitable. It's very worth it to take out the kayaks on to the bay, we had sea otters and seals swim up to the kayak and play around. Some of the most memorable experiences we have had during our trip to Canada were had during our stay at the Inn, we'd love to come back someday!
