Super friendly people, whether we spoke English or tried out our French! Great shopping, restaurants and cafes - lots of choice. The city holds many festivals, cultural events and neighborhood parties, check it out to plan your visit. We also loved the Old City walking tours, the museums, the buskers and the Grand Marché de Québec.

The Open top bus tour is a must for getting your bearings and seeing what the city has to offer . Cobbled streets with bars / restaurants and shops in the old town great for wandering around. The Chateau Fontenac area was very nice with some wonderful parks nearby Montmorency falls were also a great place to visit on he blue bus route . In general a wonderful city to visit with very friendly people

Quebec City is a beautiful and charming destination,...

Quebec City is a beautiful and charming destination, especially if you enjoy history, architecture, and European-style old towns. In my opinion, two days and one night are enough to see the main highlights of the city without feeling rushed. The Old Town, Petit-Champlain, the Old Port, and the historic streets are definitely worth exploring. However, if you go all the way to Quebec City, I highly recommend visiting Montmorency Falls and Île d’Orléans as well. The falls are spectacular and only a short drive from the city, while Île d’Orléans is a beautiful and peaceful island with scenic countryside, charming villages, and great views. You can visit both in the same day.

The people here are friendly, and it doesn't feel overpopulated at all. I feel very safe, and the streets are completely calm. Additionally, the food is excellent, and the historic buildings are beautiful.

The Unitours company was great for planning daily excursions...

The Unitours company was great for planning daily excursions. Loved having Sunday Brunch at Chateau Frontenac. The restaurants were very delicious in every way. Food, staff and ambiance was very over the top. Made us feel so welcome and always asked if we spoke French or English. Helped a lot. The country bus tour had the best overview of history and present day events. The Albert Gilles Family Tour was amazing, to have such a family of artists in your city is such a treasure. It was breath taking to see the art at Ste. Anne de Beaupre. The Montmorency falls and the Island of Orleans breath taking. Quebec City should be a must see by every Canadian and of course visitors from all over the world. Loved my Trip.

Location with Plenty of parking spaces (indoors and coutdoors-covered parking) was very good with just 10-12 min drive from Old city; many F&B were close. The room was clean, moderately spacious and calm. We stayed there for 2 nights (Aug 4-6) and it was good value for money. Since we were visiting the old town and other areas, we did not get the chance to check the hotel amenities and facilities. We had a noisy AC; when we informed front desk in the morning, quickly they sent a technician to fix the issue.

The location is the best thing about this accommodation which is not a hotel but a guesthouse. Reception is on the 1st floor. You walk through the tourist information office to access the lift, which is very useful. Tours pick up just across the road, it's very close to the funicular to access the lower old town, very short walk to restaurants. The restaurant next door offers breakfast at 15% discount for hotel guests.

The hotel is very well located for walking around the old town. The mattresses and linens were clean, and overall the room was kept clean. The rotating Ciel! Bistro-Bar is a fantastic spot for both brunch and dinner, offering stunning views of the city. So, this hotel is a compromise between price, location and quality. I’d definitely come back in the summer.
