Close to airport and the shuttle bus was on time, so a quick transfer after a long flight from the UK.
Decent sized room, and mine had a view over the marina, which was lovely. The room had a fridge & microwave but no electric kettle, which is always shocking to the English!! A coffee maker just makes tea taste like coffee.
The staff were lovely, the shutte drivers were very friendly. If I'd stayed here when the restaurant had been open I wouldve given top marks.

I didn’t stay at Royal B&B as they didn’t give me the accommodation I book for and I received confirmation for. I Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I arrive around noon and they give my queen bed and balcony to someone who smokes. They were going to put me in a closet size room with a single bed. Left immediately when I saw this. Don’t stay here

Richmond is a fairly easy place to get around in by car and the points of interest are easy to find relative to Vancouver or Surrey. Weather is nicer too, warmer and with less precipitation, I find. The Minoru recreational complex has much to offer to every age group and the aquatic building looks almost new.
This wasn't my destination when I traveled from Manitoba but it will be now.

I stay in Richmond because I am used to it, can navigate pretty easily. It is near the airport, sky train access is good, shopping is nearby except for groceries, I am always without a car there so it is a bit of a slog to get food at times. There are plenty of restaurants but I don't want to eat in them all the time.

This is a fairly cheap hotel near the airport in Vancouver. Vancouver is not a cheap place! We booked it very very late, about 1am in the morning of the night we stayed and it was a better experience than we expected. The night porter was brilliant and very helpful. Our only issue was in finding the place as apparently it has moved location of changed name very recently. For us, it was much better than an Air Canada supplied camp bed (cot) (still better than nothing) in the check-in area along with 300 other people!
The owner of the property was lovely to deal with, very efficient and super helpful. Check-in was made easy because someone met us at the property and showed us around the building facilities and how to use things in the apartment. The apartment was new and fresh, stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay and ideally located around the corner from the Richmond Centre and the light rail station. Highly recommend and would use this property on our next visit to Vancouver!
The airport transfer was good - waited about 15 minutes and took about 10 minutes to the hotel. Close to Aberdeen station on the Canada Line rail which was handy for getting in to Vancouver. Hotel was clean. Room was adequate. Onsite restaurant was ok - had dinner there one night. Buffet breakfast looked pretty good but pricey.
I have stayed in quite a few hotels and motels in Richmond over the last thirty years. This place is cleaner than many of them and less expensive than all of them. The bottled water and chocolate bars are a pleasant touch.
Arrived very early from across Canada train. Hotel was gracious to prepare a room for me immediately and to offer me breakfast while I waited. Very near huge shopping mall with large food court for other meals.
