Amazing place with even better staff. Thank you! I requested the extra roses and cake, and the staff even wrote my wife's name in it for celebrating her birthday and surprised us with a bottle of wine to accompany the cake and the occasion. Appreciate it. Great place! Also, the breakfast included is a must!

FAQs about hotels in Vancouver

Outstanding Capital of the Outdoors

Vancouver is an outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain, is a favorite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.

Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch and putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.

Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home field of the city’s football and soccer teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.

We could go on and on about British Columbia's biggest city, but we could never do it justice, so why not try it for yourself? Booking.com has a fabulous range of accommodations, from hotels near Vancouver Airport in Richmond to downtown B&Bs and motels near all of its ferry ports.

A great city to visit with so much to do and many great places to shop and restaurants that were superb! Our stay at the Blue Horizon Hotel helped us to be centrally located and easy to walk to multiple places! We highly recommend the Top of Vancouver Restaurant as the view of the city and surrounding areas can't be beat in an hour while you make the circle! The food and service was superb and they had specials as low as $25 for a burger and beer! One of the best meals we had was at Horin, a Ramen restaurant right across the street from the Blue Horizon Hotel. Take time to visit the Museum of Anthropology on the campus at UBC---one of the best Museums we have visited anywhere in the world! Stanley Park is beautiful and the Capilano Suspension Bridge is fantastic for outdoor lovers!

The beach was our favorite spot.

The beach was our favorite spot. We love that Vancouver offers a diverse option for meals. Our favorite is the kid's chicken ramen meal at Jinya. It's easy to get around the city with very reliable buses and trains. The Science World, The Kids Market at Granville Island, the Horsedrawn carriage ride at Stanley Park is a great way to see the park if your stay is not long enough to bike around or walk around the park and ending the day at the beach, every night before supper.

Always nice to have a few days in Vancouver.

Always nice to have a few days in Vancouver. This time I was lucky and the weather was nice, sunny for all 3 days. There is always plenty to do, a bit pricey as expected and I was surprised by the amount of homeless people in the streets. Defiitely way more than 8 years ago when I was there last. So that was a bit sad to see.

Vibrant city, I can only describe it as a city with the NYC vibe, without the noise! Lots to see and eat in the city. Pacific mall and Robson street for shopping! Breka cafe has amazing sandwiches and doughnuts, you will be spoilt for choice! If you’re craving Korean cuisine like I was, try this amazing spot - Sura Korean restaurant on Robson street(closer to Stanley park). Ordered beef and it came with 5 different sides! Definitely take the hop-on and hop-off bus ride… very easy to explore and get a history lesson of the city as you ride! Don’t forget to stop at Granville Island to explore the village market… truly amazing experience! Try the popular chicken pie at the market, it’s to die for!

I would say Vancouver is the most beautiful city on the Pacific coast of North America. I always love to go there, great natural scenery, fantastic seafood options, and a lot of outdoor activities options. I recommend everybody to visit Vancouver Island too; Victoria is a beautiful city and flying there on hydroplane from waterfront of Vancouver downtown was an outstanding experience. Visiting Chinatown in Victoria and trying Chinese food there is a must.
