This newly renovated hotel located in the beautiful 'West End' is an ideal location for a 3 day stay, close to restaurants, shopping, exploring the stunning Sea Wall and enjoying this area of the city. The hotel also has easy to access underground parking. The rooms were modern, inviting, sparkly clean and complete with special touches. The hotel staff were always available and went above and beyond making you feel welcome.

Outstanding Capital of the Outdoors
Vancouver is an outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain, is a favorite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.
Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch and putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.
Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home field of the city’s football and soccer teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.
With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.

We could have stayed a bit longer 5 days in the city as we like architecture, history, museum and outdoor parks and gardens.
For architecture, a must is the public library and the Marina building, there is great Asian food available, some stand outs:
Pholicious (hole in the wall vietnamese but awesome food and customer service), Himalayan Momo Restaurant in West End and Momo Factory in West End, both had great Nepalese food, great customer service, awesome taste!
Quite disappointing was the free guided walking tour, a 3 hour tour on history and architecture and landmarks but the guide was not great, it depends who you get.

this visit we went on the city bus about via the tram. an excellent compare was given of any interesting places while travelling around the city. Plus there is the opportunity to hop off the tram at any of the major points then hop on later during the day. We chose to remain on board as we have visited Vancouver several times

Harbour frontage is an exciting place to walk around.
Harbour frontage is an exciting place to walk around. Lots of eating places and shops. We flew over to Victoria for the day on a seaplane which was a lovely experience. Gastown has gone downhill over recent years with a lot of homeless people sleeping in the streets and the stench of urine was overpowering in places. It’s a real pity.

Vancouver is a beautiful city with stunning scenery, lovely waterfront walks, and a great mix of nature and city life. We really enjoyed exploring the city and taking in the mountains, ocean, and beautiful surroundings. A wonderful place to visit!

Vancouver was a very nice city. Transport was great. If you needed uber, the prices were fine. Free shuttles to some of the major sights, Capilano Bridge and Grouse Mountain, kept the costs down. The train to the airport cost us $3.40 each. (seniors). Must do, Flyover at the cruise ship dock. Overall experience was very good.

We had great experiences with food, service and atmosphere at Stanley Park Brewery, Tap & Barrel, Hook and De Dutch. It's a vibrant, walkable neighbourhood with lots of amenities and easy access to both waterfronts as well as Stanley Park. We had a car and it appears traffic is a constant factor to consider. Be prepared to park a few blocks away.

Location best in Vancouver, central Robson St, main street of CBD but not noisy traffic. Excellent bus stop at door. Tours pick up at the door.
Lovely staff. Medium size hotel.
Large rooms, all huge windows.
Extremely clean.
Tea& coffee plus fridge. Microwave in foyer to use so can heat up food or baby's things
Cafe for breakfast or brunch recommended
Not cheap but better prices than major chain hotels and big rooms have desk, lounge chairs.

Hotel is very modern with two towers and a beautiful front entrance. Loved being on a high floor that offered a stunning view of Vancouver. We ate at the restaurant that offered a good breakfast selection. Easy to walk to many downtown locations. Felt very safe walking at night.

Location was excellent, very close to seawall and in Coal Harbor which is in my opinion the cleanest part of downtown Vancouver. The hotel was very clean also and valet parking was a nice to have. Very accommodating staff.
