The room was so luxurious. The in-house restaurants served us some of the best food we had during our trip in Canada. The service was exceptional, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed that our room had a proper bathtub and walk-in shower. You could tell there had been a high level of care and thought put into the decor and details of all the spaces.

FAQs about hotels in Vancouver

Outstanding Capital of the Outdoors

Vancouver is an outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain, is a favorite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.

Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch and putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.

Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home field of the city’s football and soccer teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.

We could go on and on about British Columbia's biggest city, but we could never do it justice, so why not try it for yourself? Booking.com has a fabulous range of accommodations, from hotels near Vancouver Airport in Richmond to downtown B&Bs and motels near all of its ferry ports.

Stunning, where the Mountains meet the bay, it'll take your breath away! This was to be an overnight (3 day stay) before our epic Alaska journey, well now we need to come back again to see more of Vancouver!! Could spend weeks here and still not see it all, 99.9% of the people we met were genuine happy units Found a few little hidden gems like JAM Cafe, did the Capilano bridge, walked Stanley Park (next time get a bike boofhead) with the wife, its an amazing part of the world, and we've seen lots of the world. Stay "Downtown" and you can walk just about anywhere worth seeing, plenty of transport around "Canada Place" Ferry Terminal if you want to venture further afield. Your spoilt for choice for the foodies as well, so many to choose from. Plenty of bars down on the water, kick back with an Ale and watch the world go by. We will be back!!

Vancouver is a beautiful city with much to explore.

Vancouver is a beautiful city with much to explore. Used Uber to get around, but there were many options. Enjoyed Steamworks, the restaurant at Stanley Park, Craft, Mr Sushi, Tap N Barrel. Our excursion to Victoria and Butchart Gardens was unforgettable. Exciting place with World Cup soccer going on. Lynn Canyon suspension bridge was a nice hike in the woods.

Vancouver is a beautiful city.

Vancouver is a beautiful city. We flew in 2 nights prior to our Alaska cruise and took a Lyft to the Pacific Spirit Hostel on the UBC campus. We toured the area on foot. So much to see and learn about. We took another Lyft to Canada Place to board the ship for our Alaska cruise, which was amazing. Upon our return, we took The Big Bus Hop on Hop off tour for the day and took the train back to the airport. Vancouver was welcoming, clean and a wonderful experience.

Public transportation was easy to navigate and very reasonable rates. We could buy a ticket for all day use, which included the trains, bus and water shuttle. Two casinos were accessible by the trains and we were able to move around and back to our hotel. At the end of our trip, we bought a one way ticket to the airport. Train station had elevators to assist with luggage and clear maps inside the train, marked the routes and stops.

Vancouver was wonderful.

Vancouver was wonderful. Has everything you want in a major city. Beautiful, with lots of trees. Any food you want to eat, you can get it here. visited Stanley Park, Granville Island and Capilano Suspension Bridge, All very nice. The two downsides are getting used to traffic patterns (watch out for runners, cyclists and scooters) and paying for parking EVERYWHERE.

Impressive hotel in Downtown Vancouver, right next to conference centre and cruise port. Staff were helpful, engaging and friendly, room was clean and comfortable with everything you'd need for a short stay. We booked this hotel for a 2 night stay before boarding a cruise ship. The hotel could not have be closer or more convenient. The embarkation point was literally a 200 yard walk (within the same complex) from the Pan Pacific.

We arrived in Vancouver in the afternoon and had to leave early for Kelowna the next morning, so we were planning to visit Granville Island. That's when we found this hotel, and we ended up having an exceptionally comfortable night with our two dogs. The nearby park was wonderful for walks, and the distance to the Public Market was perfect. The bed was also very comfortable.

Room was comfortable, our hosts got our room ready early when we knew we would be arriving to Vancouver a little early. House is beautiful with good facilities and plenty of privacy. We checked out at 11 but remained in the lounge area just chilling before catching a ride to airport. This was nice and easy and more comfy than a hotel lobby etc.
