Two minutes from the train station and right next to the centre of town. Room was extremely comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Bathroom was brand new with very good power shower. Breakfast buffet was excellent with wide selection of local products. Hotel staff were very helpful and provided good advice on places to visit.

    Great stopover for joining the Bernina Express.

    Great stopover for joining the Bernina Express. Old town easily reached and completely walkable. Shopping opportunities seemed good, but were closed on the public holiday while we were there. Eateries were mostly open and we had a great meal. Just a reminder, this is Switzerland and things are comparatively 'very expensive'. Quality is good though.

    Lovely historic town, lots of lovely small shops and cafés, I really enjoyed walking through the old town. We visited the Catholic Church and the Reform Church, both are lovely buildings. I didn't have time to visit the museums, I would have really liked to do that. Unfortunately the cable car was closed as it only opens weekends, maybe we were a bit too early in the tourist season. It's a very safe quiet spot.

    Chur is well connected by train to eastern Switzerland and...

    Chur is well connected by train to eastern Switzerland and for us provided a base to visit St Gallen and St Moritz. Plenty of history with it being the oldest town in Switzerland and for us it was a good starting point for the Glacier Express. On the trip to and from St Moritz you can open the windows on the train to take better photos which you can't do on the Glacier Express.

    This is the oldest town in Switzerland and it is just charming. We really would have liked to stay longer to explore it more. Loved it 🥰 The pizza restaurant offered the best pizzas we have tasted in decades. They also accommodated the most amazing salad for a gluten free diet.

    We spent just one night and had the opportunity to explore the nearby shops. The area was not crowded, and the historic town was just a short walk away. With only half a day before our departure the following noon, we were unable to visit the forest and other attractions. I appreciated that the location was not overly touristy, making it a lovely place for a leisurely stroll. The locals were also very friendly.

    I stayed in this city for 2 nights for the Bernina Express. I didn’t have much time to explore, but it’s a small, quiet, and lovely town. However, if you’re coming just to visit Chur, one night would be enough.

    amazing comfortable beds - the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed in Switzerland. the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious, so much to choose and I particularly loved the Prosecco! the floor fan worked great, again the best out of all places we stayed in Switzerland. nice strong shower head, and beautiful views of the church clock and street.

    The hotel has the best location in the historical part of Chur 3 minutes from the train station. On the main bus route and train to Arosa. It's warm and welcoming. It's a budget hotel all the others were far too expensive for us as a family. Yes you share toilets and showers with other rooms but they are clean.

    We love the hotel that located at the old town of Chur. The room is cosy and the breakfast was great! They have friendly staffs who recommended some places that we could visit during our very short stay in Chur. Its a quiet town with not many tourists. Feel very relax to be in Chur.
