Jet d'Eau, a 450 foot high fountain in the center of Lake Geneva is beautifully lit at night.

We were not really impressed,it doesn't have much for tourists,it seems quite run down,but then there are the expensive shops and obviously wealthy people as well.I stayed one night,I was glad I didn't stay longer and wouldn't go back.

Everyone is welcoming and friendly and the city is extremely clean.
Even in August the city was peaceful to walk around and enjoy.
Trains are plentiful and easy , to get to the airport is just 7 mins !

It is a beautiful city, with magnificent views, both on the lake and the mountains beyond (in a clear day). Beautifully groomed, exquisite shops, very expensive, with a picturesque old city. It is not a city with vibrant cultural activity or atmosphere.

Beautiful city, easy to navigate. Seemed very safe. Excellent weather in August. The hotels were very affordable, but meals could be quite expensive. Hotel stays came with free "transport card" allowing free use of all public transportation modes - buses, trains, and even water taxis.

It is a relatively small city, but it has a lot of hidden gems to see. If you are new here, you may want to hire a guide, or do some deeper research before your visit. Also feel free to just wonder around, you may accidentally find something special yourself :-)

Expensive, full of the super rich or those wannabies super rich parading around the place pouting and generally looking miserable .
The place just made me feel so out of place , not one shop within reach of normal people and there was literally just shops , nothing else.
Sorry Geneva but I really did not like your vibe , people we met were lovely , taxi driver, waiters, hotel staff all nice people eat in a local Italian and thevibe there was good as we were outside the centre

Wonderful hotel! We had a fabulous stay in a large suite. We felt the true spirit of Switzerland. A nice bonus were the cards for all types of public transport, we didn't have to look for them. The breakfast was rich and impeccable. Very nice hotel staff. Not very convenient parking at first glance, but the hotel staff did everything so that we didn't feel it. We were passing through Geneva for 1 day, so we chose a hotel with a good location and we were not mistaken. Everything is within walking distance, including the train station.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the lakeside and from the central railway station. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are a decent size, clean and tidy, with a good bathroom. For anyone visiting Geneva on a sightseeing trip, it's ideal. Some of the best Swiss-style restaurants are just around the corner. You can catch the train at the airport, get off at the Cornavin station and be in the hotel within about 20 minutes.

Despite not having a 24 hour reception, the check in and access are easy out of hours. The hotel is right next to the EPFL tram stop so it is really easy to access Lausanne centre. If you're coming from Geneva by train, best to go to Renens Gare and take the tram -will save you a lot of time and hassle (and is a cheaper transfer). Make sure you get a Lausanne travel pass from Geneva Tourism (via the hotel) before you arrive.

Prime location, nice staff, clean and tidy hotel with all the facilities you need for couple of days stay in Geneva.
There were umbrellas left in the reception to be used freely when raining - I found it quite handy. 5 minutes walk to Geneva Christmas Market and lake Geneva.
Comfy bed, good shower, 2 minutes walk from Gare Cornavin Geneva station and in the city centre. Good hotel indeed.

Clean rooms, comfy beds. Well connected to both city centre and airport. Hotel's bistro serves nice food, kind and friendly waiting staff (good-humored Baptiste was one of a kind!). Our reservation came with a free transportation pass that allowed us to commute and visit the whole town for free. Next time we visit Geneva we would repeat our stay at this hotel.
