The situation of the hotel away from the hussel and bussel of the world, made the stay at the hotel special. The rooms were decorated with a good mix of old world and modern. The garden area was also a good area to relax. The hotel also has a lounge area, which means that you are not resrichted to your room.

It is a pearl of the Ticino area. The park Scherrer in Morcote is great, the village is just lovely and the people are nice. Stroll around, and enjoy the views and the village. Later you can dine in Pizzeria della Torre.

Small village.
Small village.
Stayed during winter, so no restaurant was open or stores whatsoever. Also due to covid so I can't comment on that.
Else the views are beautiful around Morcote. There's this old structure where you go upstairs to reach a church. While going upstairs there are small gardens where you can rest and enjoy the view.

Morcote is a stunning medieval village with easy access to Lugano by boat or regular bus. There are flower bedecked board walks and some fabulous restaurants and cafes. I spent an idyllic stay wandering the paths and narrow winding paths and steps. You must climb the steps to the church to enjoy the spectacular view of the lake . Then walk down a track to the rear of the church to reach the Botanical Gardens. A Italianate terrace of gardens with statues pergola and if course more glorious views of the lake and useful Seats to rest whilst climbing steps. I enjoyed a swim in the lake each day and was pleased to catch a bus to return in the heat of the afternoon to my lovely tranquil Casa Angelina where I was able to use the garden to read and relax. Dont forget Italy is a 12 minute hop on the boat to Porto Ceresio where I happily enjoyed a glass of wine .

Morcote is the perfect place to enjoy the Lago di Lugano and the weather, food and hospitality of Ticino. Take a swim in the lake, hop on boat to tour the lake, hike up to Vico Morcote, enjoy the view from the church, and finish the day in one of the many restaurants with a glass of Merlot.
Arbostora is one of the quietest, poshest, and undiscovered places on the lake Lugano. The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.
Great location on the lake with a beautiful swimming pool. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy a long stay (including a washer and dryer). There was on site parking and even an electric car charger.
Fabio was amazing. He met us to check us in and show us everything, including great recommendations for dining and activities (Ristorante della Posta is the best!). He was very accommodating and quickly answered all of our questions.
Perfect hotel! Exceptional service, beautiful location & excellent food! Look no further this is the best hotel! Every single staff member was superb from the bellman, front desk, spa, pool, bar & restaurants. A special thank you to Franco, Rudy, Tarchi, Marianna, Giuseppe & Thorne (hopefully we didn’t miss anyone) that provided service way above and beyond. They made our stay very special and enjoyable.
Thank you! We highly recommend!
The house is located in the middle of Morcote, on a quiet quiet street, close to restaurants and the lake. The decoration of the house is very well done. The host, Manuela, is very attentive and super helpful. Comfortable beds and couch. Good shower water pressure, as you would expect for swiss standards. Great value. We would definitely stay again if going to the region.
The location (Morcote) is great. The property's bit off the beaten track, but follow Google navigator, it's accurate. The villa has a lovely garden. We kind of didn't connect with the host on the day of arrival - but we were able to call her upon our check-in time late in the evening and get instructions. There were parking space. Room is antique and has high ceilings.
Our stay was simply marvellous! Morcote is truly beautiful and the Relais is an exquisite little hotel. The design and interior is really well done and it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. Everybody from the staff was really nice and attentive, especially Alex :)
We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
The village of Morcote is delightful. The apartment is centrally located just steps from the lakeside. The apartment was comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and nice lounge and dining area. Beds were comfortable. Accessing the apartment was straightforward and we were able to get in early when we arrived to Morcote.
this was a very nice property right on the lake and in the center of morcote. we didn’t have a car, and navigated fairly well by bus around the towns. The apartment itself was very modern and comfortable, with gorgeous views and all facilities imaginable. we had no complains at all about the apartment, it was
lovely.
Some of the friendlest people I've ever met work in this small Hotel. Amazing location, Bus stop and even better: boat stop directly in front of the building. Building is old but everything works perfectly fine. The furniture and everything else has a lot of charme.
Beautiful view from the room, perfect location, close to the lake and to the restaurants, restaurant as part of hotel with tasty food & great local wine, stuff was very friendly, can only recommend. Thank you.
Great hotel, friendly staff, nice room and a nice breakfast - dinners and serving staff were amazing. The location is perfect with a garage nearby and the boat tour leaving in front of the property.
The location was great. The view from the room was incredible. The ferry station is directly in front of the hotel. The restaurant downstairs has great food. The owners are so sweet!
Lovely apartment in the center of old town Morcote. Hosts were very accomodating. The A/C in our room wasn't working so they allowed us to stay in the downstairs unit.
the view from my room, to the lake, was astonishing; there was an entrance to the lake to to swim and the hotel restaurant served excellent food, including breakfast
