This hotel is located just on the edge of Old Town but it is within walking distance to the train station. It is also within walking distance to Old Town or the river etc. The rooms my friend and I stayed in were in the annex and they were very spacious. The bathrooms were also large and everything was very clean. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and professional. Although we did not use it, there seems to be ample parking available. If I were to go to Zurich in the future, I would stay again.

The beautiful character, insanely comfortable beds, and easy proximity to a tram line to get into old town. We had to leave for an early flight and didn’t get to enjoy their breakfast that looked so good! Amazing boutique hotel with great customer service and we were bummed we only had one night there.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted with a warm smile and a handshake to everyone in our group. Our two rooms were thoughtfully rearranged so that they were next to each other. There were too many extras to even mention; nightlight in the bathroom, robe and slippers, umbrella in the closet, refrigerator, microwave, and accessories, etc. and when we were checking out, the whole staff/family came and said goodbye. I love these people!

Fabulous location in the Old Town. Numerous coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants at your footsteps. Great shopping area. Only about 10 minutes to the train station and 15 minutes to coach parking. Staff in the restaurant and front desk extremely courteous and helpful…always a smile on their face. Room and bathroom very clean and made up every day. Air conditioning, which was required during my trip due to the hot weather, worked extremely well. Bottled water was replaced every day in my room. Breakfast was fabulous. Eggs and bacon were cooked fresh as per my order on arrival in the restaurant. Breakfast served in their main restaurant which had great ambience…white tablecloths and candles all over the place. Waitresses and manager made you feel like home. Free at the front desk every day…sweet cherries, nectarines, bottled water and nespresso coffee. Easy on line checkout.

As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.

Spent two nights in Zurich.

Spent two nights in Zurich. This was just a visit to allow us to return to London. The garbage was overflowing in the streets and the places smelt like urine. Maybe this is because of the extreme temperatures and lack of recent rain. Couldn't find much to do there in a day so went to the Lindt chocolate factory. This has to be planned several weeks ahead as we could not get in immediately and would have had to wait at least 4 hours to do the tour/museum. The ice cream sundaes are amazing though and no waiting.

Beautiful and clean city.

Beautiful and clean city. Transport services are excellent and easy to get. We have found the city are safe for the tourist though we hardly see the police in the city. The Swiss railway transport is fantastic.

I liked walking through the narrow medieval streets close to the river Limmat. Art is my main interest, and Art museum ( Kunsthaus) was superb if you like paintings from the 15th century till our days. Again, if you are an art lover, you shouldn't miss Fraumunster cathedral with Marc Chagall's stained windows.

Zurich is a beautiful, friendly, vibrant city. Plenty of places to shop, visit and eat. We spent one of our days travelling to Stoos funicular railway it was amazing! Highly recommend for outstanding views, fresh air and the sheer wonder of the stoos railway itself. Also a day trip to Lucerne which was beautiful. Take a trip on Lake Zurich. Definitely will come back to this place

Zurich had nice views ! People are friendly & helpful. Overall a good experience, a bit pricey but that is most of Switzerland anyways. We visited the zoo and had a great time seeing the elephants up close! They even have a train that brings you to different parts of the zoo. Near the train station there is a museum you can visit and if you want a more scenic travel you can take the river cruise. Transit to different places comes on time and every few minutes so it is very convenient and easy to get around even if you miss a bus.

Honestly, if you are on any type of strict budget, do not come to Switzerland. It is a beautiful city filled with great art, great skiing, great food, but f-ing expensive. In Berlin a falafel wrap is 7 euro ($8), in Zurich it is 15CHF ($18.50). Unless you shop at supermarkets you are not leaving with money in your wallet. If you have money (like $100 for a leisurely lunch) this is the place for you.

Hostel was ok, room's size was good for a hostel. There were only 4 rooms on the floor, so there was no problem in sharing the restroom and bathroom. There are also shared kettle, tea, and sugar, which were good to have. Public transport stop was not that far and it took us max 10 min to get to the city centre. There is also a railway station near the hotel and it was quite convenient and fast to get to the airport from there. For 2 nights just as a place to sleep was ok.

The location is excellent. It is very close to the main station (Zurich HB) and located very close to the Old Town so exploring was very easy. The hotel is very nice and has a boutique feel. In the surrounding areas there are many food options but probably the best value for money is in the Old Town. Being so close to ZHB means it was very easy to go to places like Lucerne.

The hotel was very conveniently located just minutes walk from the Zurich HB train station. We only stayed for 1 night to catch a train the next morning to the airport.
