GeorgiaEverything was just perfect! The location is very close to the Xihu and the Hefangjie, also close to shopping malls. The staff were super friendly and helpful, helped us with luggage storage and all my Taobao orders. Also they let us checkout 2 hours later than usual.

Beautiful historical city being the origin of silk and the silk road and its wonderful tea and tea culture, its amazing Xihu (Westlake) and its many cuisines and very friendly Hangzhou people. It is also a high tech city with many museums and its Xixi Wetland and Songcheng are places of attraction that are really warrant a visit. Travelling within the city is so convenient with its readily available taxis and its efficient metro. Depending on individual preference, some people like to visit in autumn and some people prefer the spring.

A nice place with lots of attractions. Not so many turists like in Shanghai. Xihu lake is a must see attraction. Price in restorans are lower, quality is absolutely same. Nice place to visit with beutiful nature.

Hangzhou is beautiful even in winter when the lotus blossoms are dead so I can only imagine how it is in the Summer or Spring or Autumn when you have blossoms, lotuses and osthmanus in bloom. Westlake is a trip just by itself. Each part of Westlake has a different vibe, there are so many paths, benches for scenic strolls or just people watching. The whole city or at least Westlake feels very serene and peaceful. I walked everywhere and did not even see a fraction of the city. Metro, trains, buses, all were very efficient and cheap, people friendly and helpful. Lots of great food, restaurants, and the strong tea culture is still felt in Hangzhou. One trip is not enough.

Not your usual city that can boast three UNESCO heritage sites.
Plus for millennia the Chinese literati and even Emperors have been coming here for rest, respite and inspiration.
Besides the Lake there is plenty that Hangzhou has to offer. We often stay too short and just explore the lake side area but there are plenty of other historical areas such as the Liang Zhu site, Wetlands and the Grand Canal. If there’s one place that can showcase the wonders and accomplishments of six millennia of Chinese civilization this is it!

Hangzhou is among the very few large cities in China that are capable of providing tourists with holistic sightseeing opportunities and accommodations. It is one of the few top cities in China which are economically, technologically, culturally, and touristically advanced. Its crown jewel West Lake is naturally integrated with center-city areas, while also conveniently extending to the city's outskirts. Wherever tourists stay in the city, they are close to West Lake within walking distance. The scenic beauty of West Lake and its neighboring Wu Hill is available all the year around with seasonal variations.

Walking distance to Ding'an road metro station, which is on the same line as Hangzhou and Hangzhou East railway stations, if you plan to travel to other places via high-speed rail (we came from Suzhou and also spent a night in Huangshan). The staff were helpful and gave recommendations for sightseeing. Walking distance to Xihu (West Lake) and Hefang Road which are added bonuses. The room was quiet. I believe you pay for what you get - wasn't the best hotel I have stayed in, but it was cheap and convenient for our 3 night stay.

The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. They refill drinking water and clean the room everyday even you are not asking for it. They have self-service laundry, just scan and pay using alipay app and you can use it anytime. The location of the youth hostel is good. 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, it's also near to the main attractions in Hangzhou centre. There are convenient stores and plenty of restaurants along walking distances. Love this hotel very much!
