United KingdomThe property has been the best accommodation I've ever stayed in (from all over the world). The room was fully equipped, super clean, the staff were extremely supportive and with plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable. They even offered me a brief free massage at their spa and a welcoming ( delicious!) cocktail. I fully recommend this place. Look forward to coming back again.
The ladies in the reception were very kind and helpful. Always happy to help.

United States5 stars. It is a massive colonial property, with a lot of historic details in its walls, ceilings and furniture that take you back to the cartagena of royal times. Location was perfect, in Getsemani, walking distance to everything, but without the noise that comes with the neighborhood. We got an upgrade to a Suite with a large living room and a private balcony facing the old city walls, which made our stay extra special. Breakfast is plenty and with good variety. There is a main pool in the inner courtyard and a few jacuzzis in the rooftop, which we used to relax in the evenings. Angie and the team were super friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay perfect.

We absolutely loved Cartagena's Old Town!
We absolutely loved Cartagena's Old Town! The beautifully preserved historic architecture, countless dining options, charming shops, and local artists’ galleries made it a wonderful experience. It’s walkable and feels safe day or night. A great place to visit and spend a few days fully enjoying the atmosphere.

Its nice but dangerous... you need to be extremely attentive of your surroundings or you will get robbed... i was almost robbed by a motorcycle just going to my Uber walking leaving the mall... not worth the risk....

Cartagena has sooo many things to do.
Cartagena has sooo many things to do. Wonderful restaurants and we found a craft beer bar who brews their own beer locally named "Cerveceria Cartagena". Makes a great IPA and APA. We will definitely come back again.

The Good: Rosario Island offered beautiful views and fair...
The Good: Rosario Island offered beautiful views and fair food. The Oceanario was a major highlight with reasonable prices—the snorkeling is highly recommended for both kids and adults, and adults can even feed the sharks!
The Bad: The tours fell short of what was promised, despite the hotel's recommendation, and the plankton tour is a total scam. The city itself felt overly pushy and tourist-trappy, with constant scams, relentless vendors, and a prominent nightlife/red-light district vibe that isn't suitable for families

Liked Getsemani for the art. Walled city and beautiful boutiques for most exquisite linens and most beautiful architectural restaurants.
Restaurants : Al Alma, Nia, Morena Origines (ambiance only), Urania roof top all nice to eat..
Easy to travel by uber and affordable. Also easy to walk around all parts of city.

The staff was very welcoming, Carlos, Jennifer, and Brayan made sure that our stay was perfect from the beginning until the very end. The breakfast was AMAZING, and the hotel facilities were a 10 out of 10. The location was ideal as we could safely walk through the old city and come back to the hotel without getting lost. It was also close to some great restaurants. I don't think we could have picked a better hotel.

The hotel was very in a great location in the heart of Getsemani and 15 min walking from "la ciudad amurallada". Close to restaurants, pubs and places. The room was good if you need a comfortable bed and a shower but the hotel facilities are not the best. Breakfast was basic but good enough.

Nice and quiet hotel outside of the busy streets of Getsemani and the old city, just a 10 minute walk to Getsemani. Had a few problems with the paying, but sorted it with Richard's help. All in all good stay also because of the kitchen we could use. And Richard was a great host

I really loved the big garden with the swimming pool. I was travelling with my dog and the staff was excellent with that. The room I was in was beautiful and very nicely decorated. In addition the hotel is very close to the historic centre.

For us this place was amazing. We booked the room with a whirlpool and seaview. Very helpful staff, nice design and really warm water under shower which wasn't a standard in our other hotels in Colombia
