Great communication with quick response to WhatsApp messages. Friendly staff. Well appointed hotel and room. Comfortable bed, spacious suite, spacious bathrooms, everything but a tablet worked well. The kitchen has dishwasher and oven. The property is quiet and peaceful. Super well located with nearly every convenience with steps including mall, bank’s, grocery store coffee shops and restaurants. Many of the cities best restaurants are a five to 10 minute drive away. I will happily stay here again.

Everything was great. Beautiful city.
Everything was great. Beautiful city. The 360 mirador was really cool and the Cable neighborhood was modern and upscale. Riding the Cable Aereo gondolas is can't-miss. The only bad part of the city is driving around is extremely complicated due to all the one-way streets and poor signage. Would like to return to see more.

Food is always fresh, clean and great tasting.
Safety is a priority. We can walk at any time with no problems and or fear. Public transportation and platform are available and it is cheap.
Visit Manizales and experience a great adventure.

Very pleasantly situated amidst beautiful green hills, mild and easy climate, splendid main boulevard for shopping and sightseeing, the locals uniformly gracious and friendly; not too large and not too small; not a tourist mecca because it lacks obvious attractions but nonetheless an excellent logistics base for further adventures in the area.

There are a variety of activities to do, both inside and outside the city, depending on what you like, you can go to viewpoints or places where you can go hiking and connect with nature.

Beautiful city.
Beautiful city. Since it was my first trip to Colombia I stayed about 2 weeks in Manizales, I needed to get my bearings and learn to take the buses, the money, etc. I got tired of being in the city and when I discovered how gorgeous the country around it is, I took off to some of the parks, springs and smaller towns. It is an extremely scenic area, even the city, with makes SanFrancisco look flat. It's at the top of a mountain. The people are unbelievably nice and polite! Loved it. Don't miss the cathedral. The aero cable cars are public transportation, amazing.

Very interesting sitting perched on top of the mountains. Very gothic city including the Basilica and all the antennas on the top. Quite an unusual vibe in the city. Cooler weather than most cities in the area. Beautiful surroundings.

By blind luck on our part, the location turned out to be perfect: easy walking distance (to the extent walking is ever easily in hilly Manizales) from the monument at the top of Chipre, as well as the Ecoparque, and next to the Parque de Aguas, a good place to catch buses. The staff was not only helpful, but seemed intent on satisfying our needs before we even knew we had them. For example, they arranged our coffee farm tour and advised on transportation. We had a grand room with a view of sunrise over the mountains.

Nothing, we were ripped off. Even booking.com did not help. It's over 24 hours and we have not heard from booking.com. Terrible, terrible. Go somewhere else...... Read the Bad! The only good thing was the one staff member trying to help out in a terrible situation..... And his boss, kept refusing to allow him to help. All he could say was, sorry she is the boss, I can't help you. The hotel should fire her and keep him. Let's see if booking. Com will post this!

We stayed one night because we were on our way to the tatacoa desert. Therefore the location, close to the bus station, was perfect for us. Super friendly staff, we got tips and information about manizales when we arrived. One of the best showers I had in Colombia :)
