Excellent hotel!!! really excellent! staff is veeeeeery much helpful and responsive! room was very comfortable - I slept like a baby which is really rare for me in hotels. Location is wonderful. We really enjoyed comfortable bed and peaceful, quiet room. Breakfast buffet had nice options, even plant-based milk. We had some issue with room key but staff was very active to solve it and helped.

The 2nd largest Czech city, Brno is a centre of Moravian culture, surrounded by lush countryside. The twin spires of the hilltop Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul dominate the neighbouring Bishops Palace, while the nearby square houses the Moravia Museum and Reduta Theatre, both the oldest in the country.
Beneath the square is Brno Underground, a maze of medieval tunnels and cellars that once housed wine produced in the surrounding region. There is an annual wine festival here, but the largest event is the Ignis Brunensis fireworks competition by Brno Lake to the north-west, lined by trees that hide Veveří Castle.
A less grand castle - Špilberk - sits on a hill in the city centre. At its feet is Masaryk University, the 2nd largest in the Czech Republic. The city’s Mendel University is named after the genetics founder who was abbot of St Thomas’ Abbey, where a museum commemorates his work.
The nearby Brno Exhibition Centre is of functionalist design, but the most important example of this architectural style is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Villa Tugendhat. On the opposite side of the city is Masaryk Circuit, home of the Czech MotoGP.
The Brno accommodation on Booking.com includes cheap hostels near the train station, guest houses near Freedom Square and hotels by Brno-Tuřany Airport.

Brno has much to recommend for the tourist, the weekend tripper, business folk and for long term stays. I lived here for 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every time I come back for work purposes it feels like I'm back home. There's plenty to see in Brno and outside the city where there are plenty of fantastic country towns and villages. Whether you're in Brno or in the countryside, there are lots of delightful, charming and even historic sights, good food, good wines and beers and welcoming locals.

Beautiful city, not too big to get lost in it.
Beautiful city, not too big to get lost in it. Good prices (food, shopping, accommodation and transportation). Large malls, smaller cozy shops, food is great, the beer is fantastic. Some people have basic knowledge of the English language, communicating sometimes is difficult.

Very walkable city as well.as easy access using the trams or Bolt. Lots of great choices of food to eat and very affordable. Great shopping 🛍 downtown. Gorgeous architecture everywhere including the castle, the double tower cathedral and the University. Important to make dinner reservations especially on Fridays and Saturdays as restaurants get booked.

Brno is a great city with a rich history and impressive architecture. It blends the old and new, offering many historical sites and buildings to explore. Tourists should not limit themselves to the central area, as other neighborhoods also have a lot to offer. Brno is especially known for its modernist and functionalist architecture, with landmarks like Villa Tugendhat highlighting its unique and forward-thinking design. Located just an hour and a half from Vienna, Brno is worth at least three days to fully experience all it has to offer.

Great architecture from the beginning 20th. (Stiassni, Jurkovič, Tugendhat...).
Just enough of a go-out option.
There is a great pool and sauna in Kraví Hora.
Old-city and other Underground exploration worth.

I read that Brno was a great place to visit so I decided to stay a few nights. I only lasted one night. Accommodation was in a scary part of town and I did not find anyone to be friendly. The only person I met who was nice was the female train conductor. Don’t waste your time.

A hotel lost in time, it still has the aura and style of an old grand hotel. Room was very large and overall very comfortable, though slightly dated decor. Very friendly staff, outstanding location and view of the square and Christmas market right outside. The room was very well insulated from any outside noise and it's less than a 10 min walk to the train station. Definitely worth considering if you are spending a night or 2 in lovely Brno.
New and comfortable hotel, comfy and spacious rooms. Nice and friendly staff. Wellness was perfect, especially the relax area and rooftop + snacks and drinks there. Great variety of breakfast, tasty. In the hotel restaurant we got a free welcome drink and afternoon snack bar and they have their own tasty beer. Walkable distance to the historic city centre, Tugendhat and the main station. Definitely recommended!
Such an outstanding hotel! The most comfortable beds/pillows/everything, you will sleep like a baby here and get your rest :) Breakfast are very good (many options), security is very important here. Underground parking (for a fee) if you travel by car.
Very close to city centre/old town as well.
