FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Had I known what Prague and the Czech Republic have to offer, I would have stayed far longer! Prague is beautiful, its people friendly (no unpleasant experience), its palaces, museums and churches incredibly beautiful, its streets, the waterfront and roadside cafes so reasonably priced and full of fun that you could while away time and yet feel that time has been well spent! Folks, do an East Europe trip instead of West Europe. You will spend much less and enjoy so much more!

Loads of interesting buildings and locations to visit . Lots of choice for shopping and eating out. Stay off the main strip and it’s really reasonable prices. The city is beautiful. Transport system is excellent and gets you where you want to go at low price. However most visitor attractions are within walking distance

If you are looking for a party town this is it bars restaurants and cafés everywhere. For the culture vultures there is something for everyone to see, castles, history, churches, churches, churches nice Architecture and a very nice river front. Shopping malls abound and there are some very unique boutique stores to get the unusual buy

Wonderful city so many things to see. Prague Castle, Underground and Dungeon walking tour, Museum of Communism, National Museum, Jerusalem Synagogue, Prague River boat trip, St James Basilica and Friary (stunning) St Nicholas Church Classical concert (wonderful) Clam Gallas Palace. Got them all in in 3 days walking everywhere. The main Square where the Astronomical Clock is, is lively but has a little great vibe.

I love the food here, especially the breads. The weather in June is just perfect for walking around the old town. If I could just make one change and that is the stones on the footpath, so it’s easier for family with kids to go around.

Excellent location at the National Museum next to two metro lines (metro station is just in front of the hotel) and in a walking distance from Old Town square and other city centre attraction points. I arrived late and saw how busy and loud it was outside at the Wenceslas square, but in my room which was facing the square I did not hear any noise from outside. The room was comfortable, well-eqipped, with interesting design. Personnel was very nice and helpful.
