Watch out for we think Romanian gypsies scamming visitors for money on the streets with clip boards

Berlin is a magnificent and highly cosmopolitan city, with an incredible number of attractions and places to explore. There is so much to see and visit, whether from a cultural, historical, or architectural perspective.
Unfortunately, there were still many construction works taking place throughout the city during my stay. While this sometimes made getting around a little less convenient, it is understandable if these projects are intended to improve the daily lives of residents and modernize the city's infrastructure.
Overall, Berlin remains a fascinating destination that I would gladly visit again.

We had a great time in Berlin.
We had a great time in Berlin. We came for the FIBA Womens world cup at the Uber Arena. The uber Arena was brilliant. In the little time we had to do other things we enjoyed shopping, ice cream at Potsdamer Platz and seeing the Berlin wall, sitting by the water and visiting museums. Spy museum was worth a visit. I'm sure we could have filled another few days.

We went to Potsdam but we only had a few hours so I would recommend a whole day or even an overnight - was a lovely city.
Don't be afraid of the public transport - it's very easy to use - we used buses, trams and trains. Just remember ALWAYS to validate your ticket before the first journey and look at multiple day tickets to see if you can save money.
We went to a football match at the Olympiastadion so got 2 experiences for one - I don't even like football and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Print out your tickets at home though to use them as a travel ticket too.

I was not able to see much of Berlin so I definitely have to go back! I was stuck at a conference for most of the days there and then had to take 1-2 hours at night to walk around and only had one day to do ALL of the activities. The best restaurant I ate in was Nomad. I loved taking an alternative tour call the Black and Queer tour of Berlin. I was solo traveling and met people along the way and it was very easy to do so. Berlin has amazing public transportation with easy signs and compatible with google maps.

Even though it is a big and populous city, it doesn't feel like it is coming at you. No chaos. Everything's orderly. I loved how wide the sidewalks were. Walking there was just lovely. Good public transportation that is highly connected and easy to navigate. Tree lined city streets is my favorite thing about an urban environment and Berlin delivers on that big time. A great number of people speak English and they are very helpful when you ask a question. A lot of culture, art, museums, events, restaurants of different cuisines. Multicultural. A city i can easily imagine myself living in.

This was a very pleasant hotel stay. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The staff at reception were pleasant. The hotel is located in the upmarket area of Charlottenburg in West Berlin. There are some nice restaurants and a convenience store close by. It is a walk of less than 5 minutes to the delightful Sophie-Charlotte-Platz Metro Station - which feels like you have stepped back into the 1930s - for metro trains into the city centre. The pretty Charlottenburg Palace is a 15-minute or so walk away.

I always stay here when I come to Berlin. The price is much lower than most hotels while the facilities are better than many.
The rooms are well renovated, clean, the bathroom/ shower are is comfortable, they have a reception (always friendly).
The location is a petrified part of east Berlin, you can find a drogerie shop next to it and an overpriced alcohol store. The connection to the city centre is great (5 mins walk to Ostkreutz)

One of the nicest places we have stayed. Great location, very close to ubahn and sbahn and walkable into city centre. We did all three options. The staff were lovely and the stand out was the garden. So nice being able to come back after a day exploring and sit in an oasis of calm. And we were so pleased that Maxi-cat (hotel cat) came to see us a few times. He is a lovely boy. Will 100% stay again next time in Berlin.

It was very close to the Berlin train station. We were only staying for 3 days for a rest after a 29hr flight and a bit of a look around. and then we were going on to another part of Germany. We chose this hotel for its proximity. Clean and comfortable.

The hotel itself was clean and located in a calm part of Berlin. The place is close to the bus station. However, you'll spent from 1 to 1,5 hours to reach to the city centre. Nearby there is an Italian restaurant and supermarket.
