A city rich in culture and tradition, peaceful and hospitable/ at least those are the impressions from this short stay. Also, there are a lot of places with excellent food. Of course, Kolsch beer is must to try and to drink in enough quantity. Cologne, although peaceful, is rich in events and lively even in the late hours. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the hotel.
The only thing I didn't enjoy was the hotel. Otherwise the city was amazing. I couldn't stop discovering new cool buildings. Each time I went up to one a new one would pop up on the horizon. Cologne has a lot of history and culture to offer to the city enthusiast. Plenty of city walks. The cathedral is great and is located right next to Cologne train station. Train was delayed so arriving at the hotel was also delayed.
