The aesthetic of the hotel was really nice. I enjoyed the free tea and coffee in the galley. The bed was comfortable and the shampoo and conditioner smelt amazing. Good location, quiet neighbourhood. Didn't use the bar but looked lovely, seemed like a good place to hangout.

I made a booking for 4 nights for the duration of Dokomi 2025 (1 day before the con and 1 day after), so my opinion is based on being a cosplayer which needed a place to stay.
Location:
Excellent. Very good location and exactly what you need as a cosplayer. You have main central station on a short 15m walk or alternatively there's Oststrasse station 3 minutes away which also goes to central or the Dokomi venue. So extremely easy to arrive to the hotel & go to and from the Dokomi venue.
Little Tokyo is a 5 minute walk away and that combined with Oststrasse station being nearby allows you to quickly arrive to your room, freshen up and go for a deserved after-con dinner & back without having to walk far or sit at a restaurant in smelly clothing.
The other side there's the Edeka, which pretty much covers all your store needs if you're lacking something. There's also various kiosks & other food opportunities nearby so anything you need is very close by.
Breakfast:
Solid, nothing fancy but you got your selection of breakfast items. Sausages, eggs, bacon, etc... various bread toppings, fruits, coffee, yoghurts and what not. Made for good starts to the day for a long day of walking at the Dokomi venue.
Staff:
Friendly, helpful and professional. Didn't have too many interactions but whenever I did I felt properly received & helped that includes the work the cleaning staff did.
Amenities:
I don't think there's much to do in the hotel itself. There's a restaurant & bar but only went to the restaurant for breakfast. So can't comment on much here, but if your intended goal is to visit the venue & city then I don't think more is required.
Price & Cancellation:
I booked for the room very far in advance and paid about 600 eur including the city tax and breakfast. I also had opportunity to cancel before the day of the booking.
I consider the price, considering the previous points, very fair & solid.

If you’re visiting Dusseldorf in February you’ll witness the bright parade of Carnival, if you visit in July you can take part in the Largest Fair on the Rhine. No matter what time of year you visit you will find a city bustling with festivals, art, music and museums.
Much of the action occurs in the Old Town, otherwise known as the Longest Bar in the World due to the amount of cafes and bars serving a dark beer called “altbier”. The centre was faithfully reconstructed according to the city’s foundation walls after the Second World War and offers a historical insight to the city.
Museums range in exhibitions from history at the Stadtmuseum, to fine art at Museum Kunst Palast and even to a museum dedicated to mustard. If shopping prevails over culture then head to the Königsallee, a picturesque strip of high-fashion shops set alongside a tree-lined canal.
With Düsseldorf International Airport located only 12-minutes from the city centre, Düsseldorf is a great German vacation destination. Booking.com makes your holiday even easier with over 200 hotels, apartments, and other accommodations to choose from.

The art museums in Dusseldorf are really spectacular & well worth visiting.
It probably makes sense to get the |Dusseldorf Card (for various lengths of stay: 1-day, 2-day, 3-day, etc.) which allows entry to a lot of sites free of charge, while others are at reduced price.
It's an easy city to navigate & walk about in. There are plenty of green areas, streets are generally shaded by trees but there is also an underground system (well, underground trams, really) but the network is good, easy to use & the Dusseldorf card allows you to travel on this too with no additional cost.
Don't forget to visit the TV Tower with a nice cafe at the top & some spectacular views of the city & surrounding area.
The airport is very easy to reach by train; there are direct trains on a very regular basis.
Dusseldorf is also well located to visited other cities nearby, incl. Essen, Wuppertal (for the famous hanging tram system - Shwebebahn) & Duisburg - all of which have some amazing art galleries & museums.

Decent city if you get away from the area near to the central station which was well populated by vagrants and drug users. Otherwise really nice in city centre , the riverside and the old town . Plenty of good places to eat. Was an added bonus the Düsseldorf marathon was on whilst we were there.

We visited Dusseldorf with two young kids aged 1 and 3. There were lots of family friendly things to do within easy distance, so long as you are happy to navigate your way around and get public transport. For families we would recommend the Aquazoo, Nordpark, Wilpark Grassenberg, Botanic Gardens, and the Neolithic Museum & Park. Cologne is only 20mins by train and has the fantastic Chocolate Museum.

The room was clean, bright and fairly spacious. The bathroom clean and well supplied with towels and toiletries

staff were helpful and friendly
Reasonable value as Dusseldorf is overall a pretty expensive city
Flat was modern and easy to find. Transport into the city centre is cheap via taxi or Uber. Check in process nice and easy via lockbox. Price was the best in Düsseldorf so didn’t have high expectations.
The location of this hotel is very central. It’s near Düsseldorf’s main train station, which goes into the airport in 20mins. With Citymapper you can easily get to all the main tourist hotspots.
