United StatesNice spacious room and very clean and comfortable! I was also most appreciative of the heavy bed linens for these cold winter nights. It made climbing into bed really nice after spending a few hours at the Christmas markets of Dusseldorf old city. They also have an amazing spread for the breakfast buffet! There are so many things to choose from. The location of this hotel is quite nice too, as you can walk to the old city center. They have all the markets spread out, and it only takes about 10 mins to get there. The reception staff were also very helpful and sweet.

An Economic Centre on the River Rhine
If you’re visiting Dusseldorf in February, you’ll witness the bright parade of Carnival. If you visit in July, you can take part in the Largest Fair on the Rhine. No matter what time of year you visit you will find a city bustling with festivals, art, music and museums.
Much of the action occurs in the Old Town, otherwise known as the Longest Bar in the World due to the amount of cafes and bars serving a dark beer called “altbier”. The center was faithfully reconstructed according to the city’s foundation walls after the Second World War and offers a historical insight to the city.
Museums range in exhibitions from history at the Stadtmuseum, to fine art at Museum Kunst Palast and even to a museum dedicated to mustard. If shopping prevails over culture then head to the Königsallee, a picturesque strip of high-fashion shops set alongside a tree-lined canal.

Compact city ideal for walking. Lots of good shopping, restaurants offering a huge variety of cuisines. Lots of bars to choose and traditional breweries. The river promenade is lovely for a walk however didn’t think the one hour river cruise was good value or worth it as it was too short and provided little info. We loved the Strand bar on the river back with its deck chairs, umbrellas and low key music and reasonably priced drinks and food.

Gorgeous city!
Gorgeous city! Definitely take some time to relax by the Rhine and visit the beautiful Rheinturm — I’d especially recommend going around sunset for the views.
Hiring an electric bike is also a great way to explore the city, as Düsseldorf has great cycle lanes. It’s worth looking into the Düsseldorf Card as well, especially if you’re staying for a few days, as the multi day options can be really good value for public transport.
The city feels very clean and well organised, and trains are frequent and easy to use.
One small tip for bars and clubs: I’d recommend asking for a receipt, just so you can check exactly what you’ve been charged for.

Beautiful city with lots to explore. I was surprised how many international restaurants are available, really great choice of different cuisines to try. I mainly spent my time in the old town/city center, but if I had more days I would definitely explore further away, like palaces and nature

Found this a bit meh... Don't know, the city is ok, plenty of restaurants, not much to see though, unless you like tall buildings...We found the Germans quite rude and uninterested as soon as English language was mentioned.

Dusseldorf is a great walkable city with lots to see. It has a beautiful old town (Altstadt) with endless restaurants and bars. Shopping is amazing and for any price range. The Kunst Palast has wonderful exhibitions and the parks are lovely and clean. I felt quite safe everywhere. Great promenade along the Rhein. Public transport is very good but also expensive. There is an S-Bahn that takes you from the airport to the main train station.

Breakfast as large and extensive, staff regularly refilled during the time. It was exceptionally busy on Saturday which we didn't realise, but other days was perfect.
Hotel is located perfectly for the train station, with Cologne and Düsseldorf city centres easily accessible.
In the Heart of the largest Japanese community outside of Japan, great food and a huge variety of options

Excellent hotel very close to the airport, making it extremely convenient to reach. The service was outstanding, and we were grateful to be allowed an early check-in. Everything was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every time I visit Düsseldorf, I always stay at this hotel and will continue to choose it in the future. Highly recommended!

Very spacious room and family friendly hotel which is rare in the city center of Düsseldorf. The location is closed to most of the restaurants and right opposite is the big supermarket. Very convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.
