The hotel is really cool and I like how they kept some of the old prison features. I had a small room which was perfect for my short stay. The room provided everything I needed and I appreciated the breakfast. Parking was easy, too.

Location was perfect. The hotel is located in the city center right next to the K in Lautern shopping center. It is within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, bars and clubs. Breakfast was good - has all the essentials for a healthy breakfast. The staff was amazing! So friendly, so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The town is beautiful, walkable, safe - with many fascinating shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes, public parks, delicious bakeries, and some impressive things for tourists to visit - two museums each of which was excellent (one had a touring exhibit of an internationally famous modern artist, the other is a local history museum which is fascinating), the Japanese garden, the synagogue memorial - which was beautifully thought out, understated, and sensitive - and because Kaiserslautern is so close to Ramstein, everyone in the shops and restaurants speaks English and they understand, and are kind to, confused American tourists! Everyone I met was courteous, helpful, friendly. Do not miss: the two museums, the synagogue memorial (very thoughtful, sensitive, and thought provoking), the beautiful churches, etc.

the Hotel has no AC.
the Hotel has no AC. It was one of the worst experiences of my vacation. For a hotel that size, location, name recognition and star rating this hotel needs AC so customers can enjoy their stays during summer time there.

Late booking, more as a stopover, as all other more touristy cities hadn’t the number of reservations we required for our party.
Nothing really to see as a tourist but nice restaurants and pedestrian areas to enjoy a coffee or beer.

Kaiserslautern, in the heart of Palatinate ("Pfalz"), as well as the whole region is a very nice area. Very green, beautiful nature, nice people and because of thousands of US troops in this community, almost everywhere you can speak English and you'll be understood. No big cities nearby, if you want that, you gotta drive around 60km.
This place exceeded our expectations. it is located very close to the city center where we were able to choose from variety of restaurants to have dinner. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed for a night sleep as we were traveling through Germany and needed a pit stop to rest. The host was extremely helpful. We had a small car problem and he personally took us to a garage nearby to get the car checked. If we ever drive through Kaiserslautern again, this is the place for us! Highly recommend it.
The breakfast was the best in all the 6 hotels we have stayed in on our motorcycle tour.
The reception staff were kind and warm and friendly.
The food we had from the bar area was very good.
The bedrooms were amazing - felt quite luxurious!
The bed was very comfortable, the pillows a little too soft for us but really not an issue.
Parking for the motorcycles was good and close to the hotel.
It located in an amazing space. The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of downtown Kaiserslautern. It was also amazing not having to worry bout a parking space in the busy area downtown. Lastly, host was amazing with no complaints and instructions to get into apartment was very easy to follow!
The facility/hotel was amazing!! Clean, modern, excellent breakfast.
The room was super! Floor heating in the bathroom, and the lighting was excellent!!
I want to thank the Booking.com customer service representative that helped me to adjust my reservation. The same goes for the Hotel staff. Thank you
Ideal place to spend a weekend in Kaiserslautern, with an auto or going on foot. Well-equipped, new finished/renovated. We felt welcome and indeed watched some Netflix.
We went to Kaiserslautern for a hiking weekend, also visited bad Dürkheim and a small canyon in the forest , really nice area!!
Breakfast was great, booked it extra at check-in. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The shower was great, and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning was a very welcome surprise (I hadn’t noticed it being listed while booking). Will stay here again when I need a room in Kaiserslautern.

Family run hotel. At least one family member was on site at all times, usually 2 or more. Mr. Bremer worked late into the night and was part of the early morning crew. The family (and all of the staff) were friendly and customer centered.
Restaurant! we loved the Jagerschnitzel. Walking, running routes were located at the hotel and we enjoyed the route through the woods. Breakfast had a lot of options and a nice setting.
Comfortable bed, interesting locale. Good breakfast, free parking in the downtown area of Kaiserslautern. Well priced for all that is offered. Nice staff!
