The hotel was great. The host that checked us in was amazing. He was so helpful and kind. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. Outside the busy area but yet really close , right next to the bus station, restaurants and bars near. We had a dog with us and they let us take breakfast with him as long as we kept him at the table. Really good breakfast and accommodating staff. My husband and I walked to a biergarten nearby that the host recommended. Karz. Awesome food and beer. My son went to an Indian restaurant right next to the hotel that he found amazing, too. Kurkuma.

Guest review

The hotel is in the centre of Metzingen, close to shops and cafés, with reserved car-parking available in the nearby parking garage. It is beautifully designed, and the plywood-lined bedroom was a particular treat. The room and bed were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a problem in the morning with breakfast as the person who was supposed to arrange this had not turned up. However, when another member of staff arrived she was most apologetic, got everything ready and gave me the breakfast for free because I had had to wait.

The hotel’s location was very good and made it easy to get around. Most of the staff were very helpful. The rooms were a little small for a family, and I found the breakfast quite expensive considering the choice available. I’m glad we didn’t pay for breakfast, as there were plenty of great places nearby where we could eat. The highlight of my stay, though, was relaxing in the bar and simply chilling. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed spending time there. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return.

We liked the feel of Reutlingen.

We liked the feel of Reutlingen. It is lively and has everything you could want. There are some beautiful, old buildings, great shops and plenty of covenient car parks. We liked the fact that it has a Denn's Biomarkt, with a cafe. We had come across this chain elsewhere and enjoy shopping there. Good parking too.

Reutlingen is a beautiful little town between hills --> a possibility to climb on top of 2 hills! Sommer cafe is the best bakery, cafe and restaurant. A walk at the old mill and Echaz river is best in early morning. Close to Metzingen and shopping in Outlet village. Tubingen old town or Bad Urach waterfalls are great places to visit.

Not a bad place to stay for a town.

Not a bad place to stay for a town. Walked to the town centre for food in the evening, a nice easy walk downhill. Plenty of choice for places to eat and drink, sat outside a posh burger place had a superb burger a couple of beers and watched the football (Euros) on big screens. Walked back a slightly different route to the accommodation Very pleasant evening.
