Breakfast was very good, German buffet plus eggs to order. Room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Good location within walking distance of the ski lift and the dock area of Konigsee.

Beautiful spa resort hotel. It felt like a hidden gem. The pride of ownership is so evident. Every part of the hotel has a creative charm to it. The grounds surrounding the pool were immaculate. The food was always a treat.

Our haven during motorbike visit in Königssee. Had the largest room on the 3rd floor: totally in our own peace. Large clean and comfortable room with all necessities including fridge. Wonderful balcony with view to the nature. Standard breakfast with good coffee. Price quality ratio superb!

Perfect location to visit the region from Eagles Nest to Salzburg Austria. Host recommended the bakery and Cafe that were within walking distance to the apartment. They were excellent and highly recommend to anyone staying at the apartment. Washer in apartment was an added bonus.

    The breakfast is great! We have many choices of cheese, ham, bread and tee. The lady at the reception is friendly and manage to explain everything in English to us. Königsee can be reached no more than 30 minutes by walking. Recommended for those love to walk in the nature and enjoy the great view!

    Schönau am Königssee is a truly magical place, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. The crystal-clear waters of Königssee, framed by towering alpine peaks, are simply breathtaking. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was peaceful and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. The town itself is charming and serene, offering a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Whether hiking, boating, or just enjoying the scenery, Schönau am Königssee is a must-visit for nature lovers. We can’t wait to return!

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely.

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely. Such a beautiful and peaceful ride over to the island. The trumpet was great and the echo was brilliant. The only problem was the captain of the boat did not explain on the ride over the history of it all in English. He claimed to not know that there were English speakers on board.

    Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful. Hiking, you will mostly see only Germans or Austrians. Is you take the ferry, which you should, you'll see people from everywhere and it feels more touristy, but still beautiful.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.

    Wonderful experience and beautiful view.

    Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

    We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by a charming host, who guided us around the facilities always with a smile on his face 😄 The room is big with built-in bathroom and minibar with local beers 🍻 The bed is super comfy so we had a good night sleep after a long day hiking. We also enjoyed the sauna and generous breakfast. Well, we have nothing to complain 😁

    Hotel for outdoor types excellent setup staff very helpful. Good bar and snack facilities and breakfast selection really good. Comfy room good showers and parking only 1 euro a night. Easy walk to Konigsee. I would go back.
