GermanyWe really appreciated having a separate trash for dirty diapers and how child-friendly the hotel was. There was even a small tree house and wooden tractor the kids could play on. There were walking trails into the forest and it was very quiet and serene. Breakfast was lovely with many options.

Nice size rooms, fine breakfast, okay situated. I should have seen that there is no air conditioning, which was a rather big issue in the warm weather, and I missed to be able to borrow an iron + board. A basic hotel but clean, good beds and friendly staff

The museum in the Upper Castle is the best thing to visit in Siegen, which explains the history of the royalty who lived there, especially the Nassau / Oranje family whose descendants are still on the Dutch throne. Also good detail of the iron ore mining and iron/steel manufacture locally. We didn't find much else in Siegen to tempt us, but were glad to go out to Freudenberg to see the large number of attractive timbered houses.

historical sights very impressive, rest of the town a nightmare because of the amount of roadwork and construction going on and the horrible architecture. And where are the decent restaurants and pubs?

Very nice location with beautiful trees, super facility including Saunas. I'd like to visit this hotel in the future again. The breakfirst is also very good with a big variety of foods and drinks
