The hotel is perfect for couples. The room looks romantic and not suitable for children. We wanted to spend quality time without noisy from neighbors or other families. The favorite one is the complimentary sauna for a couple in a romantic room. A sauna session with a partner in the winter is the most relaxing thing what we need after playing ski or other sport activities. We find the hotel very suitable for our needs. We will definitely come here again!

The pillows were by far the best we had in any hotel in Germany! Spectacular night sleep. Would go back just for those, but the sauna with panoramic view completes the awesomeness of this place. On top of the outside pool (which gets a great view of the sunset), there is a gigantic indoor pool (this one unfortunately closes at 19h) and a great indoor wellness part that stays open until late.

The rooms were great and the staff was very nice. We had bread, fruit yoghurt and fresh coffee which is a good breakfast i think and with that we could walk to the next bus station to get to the dirtmasters festival and meet our friends

    Winterberg exceeded expectations.

    Winterberg exceeded expectations. One believes that you would need to go to Switzerland or Austria to have a great ski holiday, but the truth is a short 4 hour drive from the middle of the Netherlands you are in a place where as a beginner skier you have everything you might want! There might be more challenging slopes, but I did not attempt those this time around, I will surely be back again to see more..

    Winterberg has the nostalgie of the past and combines that with the needs of the younger sporty generation, including families. Public transport is well organized and free for visitors who stay one or more nights.

    If you go to Winterberg, do it for the nature.

    If you go to Winterberg, do it for the nature. Lovely for walking or touring with your car or motorbike. The village Winterberg is not that special, but it has nice restaurants and a good icecream café. Take a look at other bigger villages for daytrips. River the Eder and Edersee are also very beautifull!

    Although there was not a lot of snow, some areas were still open as they provided fake snow for people to ski. This was perfect for my partner and me as we were still beginners with skiing. Therefore, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to start learning to ski. Also, things were quite cheap there regarding food/ groceries and also leisure such as going to a wellness center.

    The area is a professional ski resort and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, we had no snow in the first week of the year. Aside of snow sports, I can recommend the indoor playground MonkeyIsland because of the fair prices and their kind service. Our kids had a lot of fun there. Also, the wild park in Willingen filled a whole day of fun for all ages.

    Perfect location, everything’s near!

    Perfect location, everything’s near! Wonderful views of the room we had..Mountain View and lawn view plus the sound of the rooster not only early in the morning cockadoodling but during the day as well! Makes you feel in a remote village. Breakfast was ample and sumptuous, friendly staffs, lovely ambience, everything is neat. We had massage as well and it was so relaxing 4 nights stay at this lovely hotel! The small cozy restaurant served scrumptious schnitzel and trout fish and with portion of fresh green salad. However, we didn’t enjoy the swimming pool, twas not warm enough! Would love to come back and stay here again!

    Nicely refurbished apartment with great views. The restaurant food was very good. We ordered takeaway 2 evenings. You can also eat at the restaurant. We received these tourists cards/tickets from reception which allowed us free entry or discounts to several attractions. Located close to Winterberg. We didn't use public transportation because we had a car. We had to pay to use the parking facilities of the resort. Swimming pool was great. The water was warm. Ideal for our baby. Overall good value for money.

    A beautiful big house, perfectly equipped for a large company. The hosts were very friendly and cleared all our questions fast. We could easily find parking spots for our 3 cars right in front of the house, which is just 15 min drive from the main Winterberg skiing area. House included: cozy living room, spacious dining room, perfectly equipped kitchen, three bathrooms (two of them with showers). I definitely recommend this house and would love to stay here again.

    Flora & Fauna’s team helped us from the moment we booked our hotel room to organize skiing courses for my daughter on a short notice. Breakfast was delicious, our room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the Alpacas. We extended our stay and enjoyed visiting and feeding the Alpacas. Thank you again for the whole team, we will return this summer.

    Rooms very large, clean and kitchen was well equipped. Facillities like Swimming pool, Hot tub etc..was functioning which made our stay quite comfortable. Safe and indoor and ample parking space. Not too far from City Centre. We asked for early check in and resort was friendly and accommodative to allow us for early check in too. Good Wifi connection.
