Everything! I stayed with my husband and the facilities were so beautiful, a colonial house very good located in downtown. They gave us information about the city, good recommendations on restaurants and bars. They helped us by giving us more time to check out so we could have a bath before going to the airport. The breakfast was marvelous!! Very good food with a very good taste! I loved it. The people so kind and nice! I definitely will come back! Finally they helped us by booking a taxi driver for us to the airport with drinks to go (water, it was great for the heat)

My wife and I recently stayed at El Mambo for our baby moon (4 nights), and it exceeded every expectation. This hotel is an absolute must-visit.
The architecture here is simply breathtaking and truly makes this hotel stand out. The design is a blend of minimalist modernism and classic colonial style. Our ocean-front view room featured stunning colonial-style windows that, when opened, made us feel like we were relaxing in a luxurious Spanish mansion.
The entire aesthetic is immersive, but the absolute cream on the top was the soothing sound of the waterfall at night—it was a truly unique feature that put us to sleep every evening. Though the hotel is technically across the street from the beach, the views and immediate access were perfect.
The staff at El Mambo are nothing short of sweet, attentive, and amazing. They made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. A huge highlight was the free daily breakfast. The traditional Dominican breakfast Tres Golpes was included, and it was consistently fresh and delicious.
We also loved how super centralized the hotel is. We parked our car and walked everywhere for the entire four days. All the best local restaurants, bars, and shops are just a short, easy walk away.
If you are looking for an unforgettable, intimate, and uniquely designed stay in Las Terrenas, El Mambo is definitely worth checking out. We can't wait to return!

Amazing view. Very helpful owners who even helped us plan our itinerary. The owners have done a fantastic job decorating the property and have amazing taste. Breakfast was amazing, we got French and Dominican breakfast. The owners had to migrate from Haiti because of gang violence, just wish we could support them more

Location right on the beach, the Rooms are comfortable and nice regular rooms have balcony to lounge with amazing views and the family room has plenty of space for 4 people and good location. Service is good, Emilio at the front desk in particular did a great job also I cant remember the name but a very friendly blond man at the beach area was really helpful, he said he only works Sundays but was a Monday..
