Beautiful hotel, with an amazing Spa, with two saunas and two big jacuzzis; excellent location, right next to the main square. Good breakfast, with a variety of choices, and comfy bed, with fresh, new bed linen. They accept dogs, charging an additional fee. They also have a parking lot, with an additional fee as well, of 15 euros per night. Would definitely stay again!

The decor is absolutely beautiful. The artwork is inspirational and as you walk in the door, you are surrounded by aromatic elements. You can tell that a great deal of care was taken to when creating this hotel.

In addition to the well-known sights, I would also recommend the following: 1) Supilinn – a neighborhood of new and restored wooden houses that will appeal to architects and designers; 2) rent an e-bike (Smart Bike Tartu app) to explore more distant areas; 3) go for a swim at the beach near the city center; 4) take a photo at the Upside Down House - that is funny; 5) among the cafés in the center, we liked Gustav – the warm salad was delicious!

Tartu is a beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming city with a charming old town, lovely riverside walks, and a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed exploring the city and would love to visit again. The AHHAA Science Centre was one of the highlights of our trip. It offers fascinating interactive exhibits for both children and adults, making learning fun and engaging. We spent several hours there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I enjoyed Aparaaditehas and walking the small streets of Karlova. In Aparaaditehas I visited two bookstores (Fahrenheit 451 is a hidden gem with entrance from Aparaat restaurant), Biit Me record store, Kett gallery. Karud ja Pojad is a fascinating arts and vintage store, a must-visit. I had good coffee and pastries at Cruffin and pizza opposite to Cruffin.

Tartu is a city that is easy to navigate - we stayed in Old Town that has restaurants, the city hall, the university, parks, botanical garden, walks along the river. Can be inside or outside and enjoyable. All of our food was excellent (la Dolce Vita , Kampus, Werner Cafe, Wiilly&Rudy) and , service was excellent, as well. Reasonably priced.

THe town square has a fountain with statues of kissing Students, the city has lots of museums, you can walk around the city, there is a beach, next to a lake close to the river, which in the summer is a great place to be, as you can swim, or, just sunbathe there, as its a great place to be. there are also lots of cafes, and restaurants that do special offers between 12 pm to 3pm, with certain set menus, and they are great to have to eat, as done it a few times.

I’m staying in this hotel always when i’m in Tartu. Very nice staff, completely fulfilled my request for earlier check-in, asking nothing to pay for it. As a traveler with dog (pet fee €15 per night) I really value that there’s lot of green areas around the hotel and location is just right - walkable distance to the old part of city and 3 mins walk to Ahhaa Centre. Parking is very good (street parking behind a hotel or parking garage at the 2nd floor with a direct entrance to the hotel (€7 per 24h). Awesome breakfast!!!

Antonius Boutique Hotel was an absolutely charming hotel to stay in, I had my reservations about the old building having creaky floor boards and inter-room noise but this hotel ticked all my desired features of a hotel, quality room, comfortable bed, air-conditioning, streaming services, delicious breakfast buffet and with sparkling wine, excellent staff and location to attractions and transport. This special hotel in Tartu was our stand-out accommodation on our one month European holiday. Thank-you so much.

Seriously, the best hotel in Estonia. Location is good, inside the city centre. Parking costs a little bit, but not much. It’s worth it! Hotel is in the same house with little shopping centre, so even in a rainy day, you can go shopping without getting wet 😉 Breakfast is rich and even my 3 years old child, who is very picky, find himself lot of things he wanted to eat.

This is probably the best apartment we stayed at in Estonia. We felt at home in this cozy and family friendly neighbourhood. The check-in procedure was very smooth. The only thing we regret is that the apartment wasn't available for a longer term. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the kind and friendly landlords!

Fabulous rooms, comfortable, clean and with a lovely balcony. All very bright and spacious and a substantial breakfast to get you through the day. Short walk to the town, yet also located on a bus route, and excellently located for the Estonian National Museum.
