Nothing! We are full time travelers, and in all our travels, this was the worst by far! The "all-inclusive " was an insult. The cheapest same food every day and in both restaurants. Pool , gym, spa closed until 10 am and closed again at 5, gym until 7. But you cannot train or relax, because hotel employees constantly harass you for upsell services. Ironically, a waiter to bring you a drink at the pool or beach doesn't exist, but droves and teams of sales people from hair salon, spa, dive trips, anything you can imagine are perpetually asking you to purchase more. I felt like a piece of meat walking through a cage of hundreds of wolves. There was actually sewage leaking out of manhole covers and toilet paper on the path ! I have pictures of this! I want a refund!

Nice and spacious room, beautiful landscape. Good variety to make salads if you want to eat healthy. Staff was very friendly most of the time. Our highlight was the dive center located directly on the property, with very nice staff!

The day trips were amazing.
The day trips were amazing. Swimming with the dolphins and the sea turtles was phenomenal. The water was crystal clear. It's a great place for diving and snorkeling. It is not so good for people who are active at night because there's isn't much outside of the resort.

Lovely area of the country.
Lovely area of the country. As an American traveling in Egypt I felt very safe. The military has a lot of bases on the coast as it is an international border so safety is not an issue there. We stayed at our resort. There is not a "town" around there, so the resorts are all-inclusive. It is easy to book an excursion on camel or four-wheeler into the desert if you get restless staying put.

you can use abou dabab as an off shut to see other destinations driving distance from it. The beach there is one of the few that has proper sand and coral mixes so it's great for both snorkeling and divers and people who just want to chill.

It's the worst!
It's the worst! Diving gear got stolen and they kept lying to avoid even looking for it. The children got chemical rashes from the pool. The receptionist was extremely rude both at check in and check out. Oh and the Abu dabbab bay/beach is certainly overrated. No dugong, one giant turtle if you're lucky, and a whole lot of intrusion from the guys trying to sell you trips.
staff is very friendly in all places of the hotel. special thanks to Hassan cleaning our room, the guys at the Mamut ice cream, the people of the Spa.
the location is excellent (we came for diving) and so are the facilities for kids (we don’t have them - but I can see the attractiveness due the the swimming pool, gliders, etc).
I read the hotel is a bit older - this is true but it doesn’t hurt the quality of the stay, considering the price range you’re in.
Id like the view , liked that the hotel upgraded my room to the room that i had honey moon in 2 years ago , marvelous beach view room.
Id like to thank the reception both Mr saad and beshoy as they made an early check in for the room and late check out for me appreciate it .
The staff in the restaurant was got nice hospitality skills specially in the italian restaurant the waiter delivered to me bills to my wife as she was sick.
The hotel is just in the beach. They also have a pool. Very nice staff and they have shows each night. The rooms were quiet and big enough. Lots of food in the buffet. We went there for diving and it was incredible. If you are a diver I recommend it. It is very far from big cities, so there is a lot of sea life. Best quality - price ratio in the area.
The hotel rooms were cozy and clean. The pool was magnificent. The food was very delicious and the staff was welcoming and helpful.
I especially liked the seafood night, tuna fish and roasted shrimps were delicious.
Also the Shami bread made in the oven by the woman called “Thoraya” was amazing. She is hard working and diligent and always welcoming.
Amazing reef! I saw dolphins, sting rays, a shark, turtles, and many many fish all on the house reef. I had the flexibility to snorkel whenever I wanted to (6 am - 4 pm). The hotel also arranged a boat trip for me to see the dugongs. This is definitely the hotel for anyone who wants Marsa Alam's best snorkel experience just a few steps away.
Big, comfortable and nice family room with sea view
The quality and variety of food was quite good (7 days stay)
The overall site was well-managed and clean
Nice pool
Nice garden and the way everything looks from outside
Good diving school
Good safety for snorkelling with a guard
Very nice snorkelling straight from the hotel
Royal Brayka is a great Hotel due to the Location and Bay, usually we stay at Brayka Bay but die a lack of availability we chose to stay at Royal in a Beach Front Room 1005 in Building 1. The fridge door was loose and continually dripped water on the floor an the bathroom is very dated but the rest was fine.
the staff was excellent
christene the guest relation wqs really helpful and also walid the receptionist and all the staff was really super helpful and amazing
the location was perfect as dabbab beache was fantastic and I had the chance to watch the turtles and the sea cow
The beach is amazing, very calm and quiet. The lobby is beautiful, and rooms are spacious. I enjoyed walking inside the hotel as there are many routes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Many swimming pools each cater to different crowd and some with swim up bar.
The hotel lacks a lot. You feel bored when you are inside it because there are not many guests. It had only three rooms. It did not have a bar and the food was not paid for. The hotel is not safe enough, but everyone who works there are respectable people.
The beach is perfect for snorkeling,, the staff was friendly and welcoming.. food was delicious, and hotel location is very good if you want to go for trips. The animation team program is interesting.
Overall the place was very clean with good staff. The staff were very friendly. Most impressive was how strict were the hotel with covid regulations to keep us all safe without reducing our fun.
rooms were kind of above average for a 4 stars hotel beach is big and they have two swimming pools and the food served at dinner was kind of good in the over all
