Everything... the story behind the place, the simple details in the rooms and the hotel. It is an additional beauty to the history of Luxor. A great place to stay in and definitely will be our choice everytime we visit LUxor. The interior designs were magnificent, a place that takes you back to ancient history! Staff were attentive and professional, food is excellent, spa and swimming pool are great. Location was in the west bank and away from the city buzz which made it more perfect.

Luxor's archaeological sites are the most impressive I've ever seen. They are spectacular. I went in April, in spring, and the temperature reached 38 degrees Celcius. The locals told me that in summer the temperature will be around 50 degrees. The population appears to be very poor and the city is poorly maintained. Whenever possible, supplement payments with tips. This is expected by the people providing the services.

    So much !

So much ! Magic Carpet Tours were excellent, organising a wonderful balloon ride, a dreamy sunset felucca trip to Banana Island, an amazing driver called Hassim who took me to the Valley of the KIngs, Hatshepsut's Temple, Karnak, Memnon Colossi, Temple of Luxor, and didn't hurry me at all. He drove me to Aswan the next day via Edfu and Kom Ombo. Luxor is fabulous, busy, lots of street sellers trying to get you buy or ride in their horse carriage, but a polite 'La Shukran' (no thank you) was fine and they are just making a living like the rest of us! Nefertiti Hotel was a peaceful sanctuary, and I would not have missed Luxor for the world. Personal highlights: Karnak Temples and Seti's tomb at the Valley of the Kings - awe-inspiring.

The temples and archaeological sites are amazing.

The temples and archaeological sites are amazing. But beware of many people in Luxor trying to get you on the horse and cart, boats, sell you stuff, and who follow you around trying to con you. Dont be duped into going to the "one day a week" market that is a bazaar/shop in a dirty back street. If you dont buy anything they will demand 1000EGP anyway. The souk (market) is ok, but the harassment to buy is too much. I felt very uncomfortable after 3 days and wanted to get out of there

Luxor is a beautiful place with an immersive history.

Luxor is a beautiful place with an immersive history. Karnak & Luxor temple and Avenue of Sphinxes on East Bank of Nile & Valley of Kings/Artists, Hatshepsut temple, Medinet Habu, Deir-el-madina on the west bank are the places we visited during our stay. We didn't eat out as it was Ramadan and we wanted to be discreet with food when travelling to the sites. We hired a guide through Aswan individual to drive and explain the significance behind the places we visited and hence, unsure as to how to travel otherwise. Having a car would be better, as the sites are spread across the city, but a cycle would do just fine. It is better to start early in Luxor as it tends to get hot as the day progresses. So, we did most of our trips from around 7 till 2 and rested in the afternoons. We really enjoyed our time in Luxor.

Luxor is indeed a wonderful city with captivating historical sites. However, tourists should exercise caution when dealing with the locals. Some may be overly persistent, following you and invading your privacy in their attempts to receive money, even if they haven't provided any service or assistance. It's essential to remain vigilant and assert boundaries to ensure a pleasant experience while exploring this remarkable destination.

Charismatic staff, great food with vegan and vegetarian options for all meals, friendly cats in the garden, beautiful architecture, good music, cozy garden atmosphere for breakfast or a nice dinner, chill vibes. This was our favourite place to stay at during our 2-weeks trip to Egypt. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the first to the last moment. The hotel has a beautiful architecture and garden, with spacious and very clean rooms. Definitely recommend staying at Embrace Hotel if you are going to Luxor.

The staff was super helpful from the moment we arrived. I got sick on the train on the way to Luxor, and luckily one of the staff members Noor was also a nurse who provided immediate medical care and I was good to go for my pre-planned tour. The hotel has an in-house tour company called Aladin Tours as well. The tours were amazing, and the guide Rania was super knowledgeable on the ancient Egyptian history. The rooftop restaurant was great as well. Chef Abu Zizo ensured we got good service and food.

If you get the chance to stay at this place in Luxor, do so! We stayed there for 4 nights and had our best stay in whole Egypt. Mohammed and Kaream are so friendly and welcoming and help you with everything you need. Also, we used the pool everyday, as it was so refreshing after sightseeing. Food is amazing. We booked the ballon tour with the hotel and everything went as planned. As it is one of the budget-friendly places in Luxor, value for money is unbeatable.

We had an amazing stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, plus they were very accommodating to our needs and wants. The room is clean and comfortable with good AC and fan. There is also a swimming pool which makes the heat a bit more bearable. Included in the price was a wonderful breakfast, by far the best we’ve had at any Egyptian hotel. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend Luxor Pyramids Hotel.

This was the best place we have stayed at in Egypt! Badaway, the owner is an amazing host and was so helpful and kind, was very attentive to anything we would be needing. The apartment has fans, air-con, comfortable mattresses, and a terrace with a great view over the Nile. On top of the house there is roof which we could use to relax and chill. · I really loved the restaurant where they served breakfast and lunch/dinner. I was able to watch the balloons in the morning from the west bank. You can walk across the street to Luxor temple which I liked as well. Wael, the receptionist was super helpful and they also helped us hold luggage in the lobby while we explored our extra day. We stayed in various types of accommodation in our 5 week visit to Egypt. From 5 star resorts to basic 3 star hotels. By far we enjoyed our time spent here the most. Ali, our host and contact, was amazing. His service and attitude made the visit memorable and we remain good friends. I felt Ali and Temple House deserved a review from both Shayne and myself. It's not a double review but deserving of the praise.

The room was clean and spacious with great staff and good views. Mariam did an excellent job for our stay and should rate her 10 plus. However, the restaurant was the worst for our Egypt trip, the salad was not clean so we got food poison, please don’t eat dinner there . The restaurant ruined the feeling for the hotel, hopefully the chef should make sure the dishes are clean before serving the customers.

It was a beautiful place to stay with a very Egyptian audience. The best part of the hotel was how helpful they were in arranging a tour and hot air balloon air ride at a good price with good companies. Finding good tour companies can be challenging in Egypt, but the owner knows them well and looks after her guests, and that gave us a great experience. She was also nice to chat with.

The Hotel was ok, located on the Nile, relatively clean (by Egyptian standards). Has several restaurants & bars on the premises, with many seats in the garden overlooking the Nile, which is great. Prices were not high. For Egypt it would probably deserve a score of "8", for Europe more like a "5", so I gave it a "6".
