Not in the more city-like area of East Luxor, Embrace offers a more tranquil experience, closer to the valley of kings and hot air balloon ride. The staff were delightfully attentive. Luxor is a difficult mix to evaluate. On the one hand, it has incredible places with all the history and importance it deserves. On the other hand, the treatment of animals was what struck me the most, the state of the horses in the carriages was a discouragement to take this activity, the treatment of the locals to the tourists is not easy - the prices could be inflated between 4 and more times, additional and senseless costs come up all the time. It is a shame, because it is a place that would be worth returning to but the experience is so difficult that it becomes a destination to visit only once.

You seem to have a lot of small denomination money, here it's all tips, if you ask a question to people on the street... TIP, if you drop a piece of paper on the ground and someone picks it up... TIP, if it comes in to the bathroom... TIP... a little annoying, they are used to asking for TIP for everything, everything is everything. The challenge is very exciting to see so much history, monuments, the trip in a static balloon is very good. Everything is excellent because of the architecture and the history, the people are respectful, the only thing that is uncomfortable is the issue of tips, if you are going to go to the market, it is best to go with the guide so that the prices are raised so exaggeratedly.

The views to Luxor Temple and Winter Palace at sundown were spectacular. The village atmosphere and friendliness and dedication of the staff there is exceptional. This was my first time in Egypt, and as a solo female, the whole atmosphere at Villa Sunrise was so welcoming and safe it made the whole experience so special. The rooms are apartments so have laundry and cooking facilities too if you want but the meals in the restaurant are great!!!
The view of the Nile is amazing. The restaurant and a pool overlook it, which was very nice. We did not take advantage of the facilities much as we were mainly sightseeing in Luxor. The breakfast was very good - really enjoyed the variety, quality and local flavours. Another note was that Egyptian coffee was exceptional - best coffee I’ve ever had in a hotel breakfast. Also, wifi was very good.
Everything was good, it’s a cozy hotel, very Egyptian style which i loved. The rooftop terrace was the best part, amazing views of the Nile and the Luxor Temple. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options and most of them vegetarian. Also we had dinner there and i food was very tasty.
I found this hotel on the list of the 50 Greatest Hotels by the Daily Telegraph, and it really deserves to be one of the top 50. There is nothing remotely comparable in Egypt. Beauty, attention to detail, service, and genuine staff. I will definitely come back for a longer stay.
Absolutely gorgeous building and grounds located on the Nile. This place is like a dream. The rooms I booked looked like a fairytale bought to life. Wish I stayed longer. Wouldn't even consider looking at another hotel in Luxor if I ever return to Egypt.
