Akquaaa Boutique Hotel, hotel in Calafell

Located on Calafell beach, Akquaaa Boutique Hotel has a beach bar and restaurant with a terrace on the seafront with sea views and free use of boats for guests.

Our room had a beautiful sea view right in front of us, and with no road between the hotel and the sea, so it was quiet and peaceful. Everything was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable (on the soft side, but super comfortable). Breakfast was great, with a buffet and menu options, and eating outside overlooking the sea was just perfect. We’ll definitely return!

Hotel Antiga, hotel in Calafell

Antiga is an elegant building from the late 18th-century in the centre of Calafell, on the Costa Daurada. It has an outdoor swimming pool and offers free internet in rooms.

The garden came as a surprise, its beauty, size and location, in the centre of the village. In high season it might get busy with the attraction of the large swimming pool but in April it's a peaceful oasis. The hotel is run as an extended family especially when it comes to dinner where there is a discussion as to what will be cooked. Always a culinary adventure as long as you are willing to wait until after 8:30 pm to start the meal.

Face à La Mer, hotel in Calafell

Set in Calafell, 100 metres from Platja de l'Estany - el Mas Mel and 500 metres from Platja Segur de Calafell, Face à La Mer offers a shared lounge and air conditioning.

The accommodation was simply wonderful. Perfect location, just few meters from nice clean sandy beach, shops and restaurants nearby. The flat is fully equipped with two balconies, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, freezer and two coffee machines. The owner, Dominique is super nice and was very forthcoming and nothing was problem (i.e. our very early departure). We were super happy and will definitely come back.

It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona connected to both by train (we have not used the train though) and by car. There are big grocery shops with plenty of choice. The beach is nice, although in April pretty empty (some bars and cafes are open though).

I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast.

I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast. Like the fact that there is no traffic between the seafront cafes and the beach itself. Compact town, but has everything you need. The ttown as a whole has a very Spanish vibe, not loaded just with tourists.

Calafell is an amazing town near Barcelona.

Calafell is an amazing town near Barcelona. It is kids and pet friendly. Perfect place for a family trip or a gateway, the gastronomy is pretty rich with seafood specialties. Shopping is open 7 days a week. International restaurants are also available. You can visit all the beaches, an old castle, an Iberian prehistoric place, fisherman’s museum, Port Aventura the best theme park in Spain (40 min away), Aqualeon (water theme park) only 15 min away.

We are returning guests in Calafell because we like it very much. Calafell is in the optimal place between Barcelona and Port Aventura themepark. So when we spent too much time on the beautiful beach, then we go a sightseeing day in Barcelona (maybe Tarragona) or an exciting day in Port Aventura. The access of Calafell is great by the short range train. (Tip: keep in mind that Spanish Railroad is not a perfect company, so plan enough time if it's important (eg. leaving to airport) and keep Uber app in your phone for emergency)

Calafell downtown has everything you need according to your needs. from bars, restaurants, tapas, breakfasts on the beach, beaches with people and if you just want to relax you also have options. I was in Segur de Calafell, 30 min walk from Calafell, but quieter and without so many people but relatively close if you need a little action. The two places (Calafell and Segur) are very well connected by train to Barcelo or the airport (just be aware of time). From Estacion de Segur to Passeig de Gràcia in the heart of Barcelona, or Vilanoba, honestly the best way to explore Barcelona without being immersed in the sea of people.

Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. great for large groups and families. The owner was very friendly and left a book with restaurants and things to do in the area. Restaurants are all in walking distance and they all serve breakfast thru dinner. Night life is a great experience and you can view from the balconies. we slept with windows open to feel the natural breeze at night witch was great. Barcelona was a 45min -1hr drive depending on traffic but very convenient due to price difference. we will definitely be booking again!

We returned to BEACH & DREAMS CALAFELL for a second time in the last year because it fulfill all our needs for our stay in Calafell. The service and the logistic is flawless, everything is easy from the arrival to the departure. The location of the apartment is perfect, the beach is 2 minutes away, there is 2 supermarkets nearby and the commercial streets are also 2 minutes away. It is really easy to park in the streets right around the block. The size of the apartment is good, it is clean and everything you will need is there.

This was an amazing stay and experience. The location is perfect, you feel as if you are apart of Calafell. It is breezy, great balcony, very spacious, and can hear the ocean at all times of day. Soooo close to the beach. The space was clean and in working condition. All necessary things (towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc. are provided, wifi works perfectly) Xènia at Villa-Service did an excellent job and provided amazing personalized customer service. I highly recommend the location, Villa-Service, and Xènia.

Well equipped house with everything you could need. Friendly, helpful host who was very responsive to messages. Safe, quiet residential location with amenities not too far away ie beach, supermarket but would need car to access them. Lots to do for the family in the area ie go karting, calafell slide, port aventura theme park, water parks. Also loved the Roman history of Tarragona and the stunning aqueduct. Access by train to Barcelona was also good.

Pleasant stay near the Calafell beach. The hotel offers a lot of facilities, mainly the pool with lots of sunbeds. There was a different event every evening (magician, singers, dancers, comedians, ...). Lots of parking options: paid secure parking on the hotel premises, free street parking (paid only in July/August, but you can get weekly ticket for ~15€) or free parking at the train station (3 mins walking).

This was a beautiful property. Rooms have a beautiful view directly to the ocean. Rooms are big and comfortable and the bathrooms were great with toiletries. Everything had been renovated. It was very clean. When you walk out of the hotel you’re directly on the beach promenade which is beautiful and full of cafes. It is also within walking distance from the train station which makes it very convenient.

The hotel is brand new at the quiet end of the boulevard. We chose a room with a beach view, which was a very nice room with a cosy stylish feeling. Nicely sized balcony with two comfortable chairs. The staff, especially the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is new and they are open for suggestions to improve. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff of the hotel was super sweet and helpful! The whole customer service experience was as good as it can get. The location of the hotel is great - right at the beach, close to the local train and close to really nice seafood restaurants at the beach promenade. The hotel also has an own beach terrace with a nice and reasonable priced menu.
