The hot swimming pool was fabulous! (But only open from 12-8 so can’t use it in the morning before leaving)

Great location on the Camiño. Staff was very friendly and informative. Bed extremely comfortable. The shower was glorious. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Located right off the Camino, pleasant proprietor who gave us delicious chickpea soup on our arrival. The room was clean and good wifi
Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.
Lovely historic property that was originally a bathhouse from 1780. Hotel was located along the river close to the highlights of the city with many restaurant choices. The bathhouse and services were very nice and easy to book even at the last minute. My room was very comfortable, the bathroom was well laid out and the shower was amazing. The hotel was located on the Camino Way so it was a perfect location for me as a pilgrim on the Camino. Staff was vey attentive and helpful.
My wife said, "Every piece of furniture and decoration was chosen to make this space work really well for guests!" The pull out sofa bed looked brand new and was very comfortable. One of the bathrooms had a large bathtub. The views from the windows were pretty, and the plaza on which the hotel was located is gorgeous. Even more, the hosts were extremely helpful! I cannot imagine there is a better place to stay in Calda de Reis. My wife, three kids, and I were very pleased!
It felt like a privilege to stay in a private room with a pool during the Camino! It was the rest that we needed to go further with our way. I really recommend this place, it was amazing! The pool is very nice to chill. Staff was also amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean.
We accidentally found the public hot spring in Caldas de Reis, it is 10 min away from the accommodation and it is worth a visit.
Very clean room, with towels which is always a bonus! Enough space to store your luggage and offered a window to let the fresh air in. Very clean and the kitchenette was perfect to make breakfast and store some food. there are two full bathrooms that can be used which helped! Elevator was great. Amazing location to explore Caldas de Reis and close to all the main attractions for the Camino de Santiago.
I didn't realize how much further out of Caldas de Reis this was. We were exhausted after a long day on the camino, and had to walk an additional 3+ km out of town. The manager was not friendly, room smelled of smoke, but was clean. Room was heated. We could hear people in other rooms and it just gave off a very American "motel" vibe - not in a good way, though nothing bad happened.
Clean, comfortable studio apartment in the middle of Caldas de Reis, right along the Camino! The host, Jorge, was wonderful--as soon as I dialed his number to meet to collect the keys, he was there! After my son left a bracelet there, he contacted me on WhatsApp, offering to return it. It was great to have a washing machine, too.
This was the best accommodation on our camino and a real treat. Cooling leg and foot gel was in the rooms, disposable slippers, every detail had been considered. Excellent staff, so helpful and service oriented. The breakfast was great and our teens used the outdoor pool. Small boutique hotel feel, a slice of luxury!
One of (if not the) most special places we’ve stayed! Every part of the hotel is unique, artfully curated, and well taken care of. Not to mention, the staff are all incredibly friendly and the food was amazing (best breakfast ever, amazing homemade bread and pastries every day). Can’t say enough good about the place.
Beautiful room with private bath. Lounge area with kettle and refrigerator. Very nice accommodations and easy check in. Very near one of the best restaurants we visited while in Spain, Mesón Bermaña. Very close to public hot springs. Quiet except for the cheers from the bullfight...but when in Spain.
The perfect hotel to stay. We had the most amazing stay at this hotel, wonderful service, beautiful scenario, big and comfy rooms, great breakfast and even a bottle of wine as a gift at the end. we definitely recommend this hotel!! We’ll be coming back again :)
Very nice great location
Rooms very comfortable
The main hotel was very good for breakfast also
A very pleasant stay
The young man on the reception Adrian was also very polite informed and helped us professionally with our bag transfer
Thank you
Beautiful cosy apartment with great views over the rooftops of Caldas de Reis and very helpful host. We were only passing through along the Camino but definitely could have stayed longer! One of our favourite stops on the trip.
This was a typical old school continental hotel with some dated facilities and some updated. The restaurant was of poor quality and the servers were rude. Our room was clean and enormous.
to be honest, just arriving o saw a 4 starts hotel. beautiful, clean, nice. big surprise
patio
free coffee
the only guy working at the hotel was nice. really good customer service
This hotel was really lovely. Clean, inviting and beautiful. Upon arrival, the front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome.
Would recommend
Good option (not only) for pilgrims passing through Caldas de Reis. The city is tiny and the appartment is right in the center. Nice balcony. Very friendly owner.
