The hotel is really outdated and needs major renovations. We selected it for the spa (that was unfortunately closed) and the calmness…BUT we were awakened every morning by the staff (housekeepers) that were very loud and even knocked on our door even though we had the « do not disturb » tag on the doorknob. Unacceptable. Paper thin walls…You could literally hear the neighbors’ conversation. The parking is a plus.
Hotel Flora Parc is in central Castelldefels, just a 25 minute drive from Barcelona and 1.5 miles from the beach. It has a small outdoor swimming pool and on site parking.

Castelldefels is just outside the business of Barcelona, but right on the train line to access the city easily. The beautiful beach and lots of things to visit and do nearby give you lots of good alternatives to the city as well.

We regularly stay in the Barcelona area when arriving or departing by cruise ship. We prefer Casteldefells and Gava area to stay, rather than Barcelona, because it is a much more relaxed place with good value hotels and it feels much safer than Barcelona.

Nice quiet beach town with nice beach and chiruinguitos and restaurants.
The sea was too wild to swim in. The weather was sunny but windy during my stay.
Not a lot of shopping/grocery shops near beachfront though.
Tip: Restaurant Pez Bomba!

Easy & SAFE walking distance to all restaurants, shops, beach, bars & some nightlife.
It is slightly more expensive to eat on the beachfront, compared to some restaurants down the side roads.
Plenty of choices.
There was an AWESOME sushi buffet restaurant, called Yamasato, not too expensive & with a good variety of dishes besides sushi.
Not all waitrons spoke English but there was 1.
Downside of Castelldefels, easy access to Barcelona but an hour bus ride cost 5 EURO 1-way.
It was cheaper to stay in this area compared to Barcelona

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. When I arrived at 5:30 pm for check-in, the hotel was closed. I called the hotel and was met with aggression over the phone. When the staff finally arrived, I paid and was waiting for my room. During this time, another existing guest came in, and the staff member completely ignored me, leaving me hanging for several minutes while he chatted with the other guest. This lack of professionalism and respect was infuriating.
To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt for my payment nor was I provided with the Wi-Fi password. I forgot to ask upon arrival, likely because I was intimidated by the staff's rude and unprofessional behavior. Later, I sent a WhatsApp message requesting the Wi-Fi password, but I never received a response until after I had already left the hotel the next morning.
When I informed the hotel that I would write a review about their non-existent services and unprofessional conduct, they canceled my reservation without any valid reason, preventing me from leaving a review on their booking platform.
Additionally, the room was nothing like the pictures on the booking site. It was a complete misrepresentation and added to the overall disappointment of my stay.
Overall, my stay was ruined by the staff's aggressive, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior, as well as the misleading room photos. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

Such a beautiful place!
Such a beautiful place! If I could’ve stayed longer I would have. The beaches are beautiful. The restaurants are top quality. The castle is also worth a visit! Friendly people. Also close to a bus stop (buses had tap on card system) so if we wanted to travel this way we could over taxis!

The hotel is right on the beach, from your airconditioned room to the Mediterranean Sea within minutes. Our room (113) was quiet, had a balcony mostly in the shade at the front of the building, away from the pool. The bathroom had a great rain shower. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room nice and chilly. The breakfast offered more than enough choices, as well as a lovely view of the beach.
Pool very nice, but they kicked us out at 6pm. They said they had to put away the lawn chairs.
we stayed anywy, but got some attitude so we let him take our chairs and we sat on the grass which wasn't very comfortable. In July it's not unusual for hotel pools to stay open late in Spain as there is still sun up until 10pm.
I checked in a little later Rd in the day and checked out very early to catch a flight out of Spain, so was unable to sample breakfast offering that starts at 7am. If there is a criticism, this is perhaps one. The kitchen could open a little earlier.
The hotel is truly 4*, offering real value for money spent.
Great Location. Only 3 minutes walk to the beach, 40 minutes by bus to airport and there's a bus L94 to Barcelona. Bus are right next to hotel.
Large room and shower with plenty of towels.
About 15-20 minutes walk to train station, shopping.
