I didn’t explore Elche in depth and ended up not visiting...
I didn’t explore Elche in depth and ended up not visiting some of its main attractions, such as Huerto del Cura, the Basilica of Santa María, the theater, or the Manuel Martínez Valero Stadium. Still, my overall impression was positive: the city is attractive, well planned, and comfortable to stay in. The city center felt a bit chaotic and busy, but not enough to affect the experience negatively. Thanks to its location, Elche also works very well as a base for visiting Alicante and other nearby towns, such as Benidorm, Altea, and Villajoyosa.

Eleche is a lovely city with some interesting historic area and sites. Lovely vibe in the evening in the square with restaurants and bars busy.
Plenty of places to eat/drink, and shopping if you want.

The town has some lovely parks and tree lined avenues.
The town has some lovely parks and tree lined avenues. Central Elche was easy to get into, the town is built on a grid system. We stayed near Placa Glorieta, a very interesting area with plenty of shops and a variety of good restaurants. Well worth a visit. We ate at a fantastic Italian restaurant in the square We would certainly go back again.

A huge bath, the gardens and pool were beautiful. Yoga was available too. Comfortable bed and beautiful cotton bedding. Facilities were great and a mini bar with fair prices and a Mercadona 5 minutes away. The staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was in a great setting and very nice!

I didn't know anything about Elche until we stayed before a return flight from Alicante. Its a beautiful place with tranquil gardens, lovely squares and restaurants. Very authentic Spanish location.

The location was excellent, central, walking distance to "Placa Glorieta" where there are some lovely restaurants. The Hotel has some underground parking places, these need to be booked. Although an older hotel it has been refurbished. the rooms are clean and modern. Elche is a lovely place to visit and see would stay here again.
