Lovely welcoming staff. Excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet. Very good €25 dinner menu including glass of decent wine. Comfortable bed. 5-10 minute walk to old town centre and Dali museum.

Hotel Empordà is a family-run hotel is in Figueres, just a 10-minute walk from the Dalí Museum. The hotel offers free WiFi, free outdoor parking and paid indoor parking.

The restaurant was great..exceptional! The location and parking was good. The hotel was “ old school” traditional values. I loved that ..they did their absolute best to make sure I enjoyed my stay!

Set 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Figueres, Hotel Trave offers a swimming pool, free WiFi, free parking, and a traditional Catalan restaurant and Tapas Bar.

We have chosen the hotel because of its proximity to the train station in Vilafant. But it was also walking distance to the center of Figueres. The hotel needs a renovation , but the lady at the Reception is adorable! Also, the parking lot is large and for free . 2 Minutes drive in by car to the train station.

What a beautiful hotel and facilities! Our apartment was so fresh and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and separate kitchen and seating area. The sound proofing is also really impressive. Even with a big event happening on the street outside you couldn’t hear it with the windows closed. The location is really good too, being directly off the main square and close to many restaurants and bars. The guy who checked us in was really friendly and helped us with storing luggage before check in so we could explore the town. Finally the rooftop has very impressive views of the town! Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone going to Figueres.

    The main attraction is the wacky and fascinating Dali museum - which was a ruined theatre restored with Dali’s artistic guidance and filled with his clever and bizarre paintings and art installations. Not to be missed. Book a time slot in advance if possible and allow at least two hours inside to take it all in! The old town centre with narrow streets and small plazas has interesting shops and plenty of nice cafes, restaurants and bars.

    Loved this little town.

    Loved this little town. Surprisingly touristy with the wonderful Dali museum located here.(well worth a visit.) But also a lovely friendly feel. Good restaurants…Granada Vino worth a visit, or relaxed bars and tapas.

    Figueres is a small town with a centre mainly built between 1850 and 1930 . Pleasant enough. But you go to Figueres for the Dali museum which is astonishing . Be aware there are two train stations in Figueres each 20 minute walk in opposite directions

    The Salvador Dalí Museum and surrounding art work is very interesting. The pretty square near the hotel is charming with pretty lights at night and a choice of four restaurants. It is quite demanding to get around with steps and inclines.

    we stay there often due to ease and we have 1 dog and its dog friendly place. we stayed 3 days this time and, at times it seemed a victim of its own success-many had 3 plus dogs and it felt a bit like dog kennels at times! Its a reasonable drive to the coast, which is pleasant.

    Mainly went to Figueres to visit the Teatre -Musu Dali. This cost 23 euros for a standard ticket/ 18 euros reduction. Tickets are purchased at the right hand booth. A suitable time slot is chosen such as 11.30 a.m. 12.45 p.m. etc. when buying the ticket. It's worth a visit. Takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to see all the rooms. At 11.45 a.m. it was crowded inside. Accessibility wise: there are large open areas but also many narrow corridors and steps.

    Joan an Carme are very welcoming, nice and discreete. The apartment was fresh at hour arrival, clean and good looking. The flat is fitted with all the necessary equipment (quality and new + soap and cleaning products) for a confortable short stay. It is quiet but close to the city center and to the major ways to reach the seaside, Girona, Barcelona and plenty of interesting historical heritage places around. Figueres city also has many interesting places to visit and the tourist information provided by the owners was very helpful.

    Great and comfortable hotel close to the AP-7 highway. We always stay here when we're heading for our holidays further in Spain. The family rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Also one of the reasons we always stay here is the restaurant. The kitchen here is outstanding! Great local food; fish, rice dishes and vegetables are served on a very high level. Staff is very friendly. Last time my daughter left her little stuffed animal in her bed and the staff was so friendly to send it back to our home address. Thanks so much!

    We really recommend this place! The apartment is new, very clean, and has everything you need — perfect for a short or long stay. Beatriz gave us great advice about Figueres and was always quick to answer our messages. The location is excellent — right in the center. There’s a paid underground parking just a few steps away. The only thing is that it can be a bit noisy at night, but that’s normal if you stay in the city center.

    I'm just finishing a 36-day road trip around France and Spain. Just my wife and I and purely for pleasure.  I don't often write reviews, but out of all the 12 hotels we stayed in (mostly 3* & 4*) ibis Styles provided the most comfortable bed and pillows and the best shower of the whole trip.  Even the towels were fluffy.  I'm off to the restaurant now.  It looks like a great menu.

    Great spacious room. Our rate included a breakfast, which was excellent. Hugh choice good quality one of the best breakfasts we've had in Spain. I would consider purchasing the breakfast even if its extra. Good location. Both receptionists were helpful and friendly.
