I didn't make a mistake choosing this hotel. Perfect location because there are many places to choose from to eat, and it's walkable. The same goes for visiting tourist attractions in the city - you can walk. Excellent cleanliness and excellent staff service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is not a typical tourist city, but it was enjoyable and had a normal feel to it. It is the cheapest place so far I have visited for good value food and drinks. I highly recommend going for a walk along the old pier down at the sea/river inlet and to stay for sunset. There are great value bars down that way that are very reasonably priced. Huelva was a pleasant surprise.

My stay included visits to the sites Huelva has to offer but also trips away from it to explore Palos de la Frontera, Rabida, and Moguer--all places with strong connections to Christopher Columbus's voyages to the Western Hemisphere. These other places filled in a lot of history unknown to me before about him and others from the area who accompanied him on his voyages. I took public transportation within Huelva using its city bus system and out to Palos de la Frontera and Rabida.

The area along the Odiel River is nice to walk and has restaurants and places to sit and enjoy the view. The city would be great by bicycle. The Mercado is the place to go for fish, meat and fresh produce. Restaurants were a bit of a hit and miss during our trip, so we recommend doing some research (and don't trust the online pictures posted by the establishments). You definitely need some form of transport if you want to see a fair amount.

I decided to visit the area simply because I read Christopher Columbus set off a few miles up the road to find the new world and most of his sailors came from the area. If it was good enough for CC…Nice churches, monuments, Markets, promenade, and cafe life within Huelva and you could easily spend a week if taking in the surrounding areas. Good bus and trains links.

I loved this city with all my heart! I walked everywhere.

I loved this city with all my heart! I walked everywhere. Such a great history, wonderful people who were so nice. The tourist desk at the Columbus house was extremely helpful and they seemed excited for my visit. It was very reasonably priced and delicious food. The Jesus Hermida museum was free and very interesting, with very nice workers there. Everything was so lovely in this town.

One day is more than enough to experience Huelva.

location was really good, the hotel is just a few steps from old town. bed was comfortable. the room was big and spacious. there was 24/7 reception.
