This quiet small village shows an entirely different face...
This quiet small village shows an entirely different face during the carnival season. There are the traditional costumes which is a bit scary (for small children) but really lovely to see. The next day, all the village was disguised for the occasion - only the tourists weren't - and it's so lovely. Check out the event calendar. It's not far from the towns such as Irun, San Sebastian, Hondabirria, etc., and yet you can also visit other small villages in the mountain. Lesaka has a lot of places to eat and relax. A restaurant/bar Kasino is very well known to serve super omelettes (tortillas Navarro) but watch out, you need to reserve a table AND the omelette before hand otherwise you will have to wait for a long, long time. The omelettes are also expensive (30E for 3 portions, 40E for 4, etc.) and you need to anticipate this. The village is wholeheartedly recommend.Guest review byTom_ParisFrance - Review score
