Very nice hotel near the airport. Although it is in an industrial part of Malaga, it has surprisingly pleasant surroundings and the terrace has a nice view of the nearby mountains. For motorcyclists from the Czech Republic, it is a huge advantage that the depot transporting motorcycles is within walking distance of the hotel.

I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on what that was like but it's a very clean hotel with welcoming staff in a great location. I was travelling on my own and often feel like I've been relegated to a poor room but that didn't happen here. Everything was very welcoming for a female solo traveller and all the staff I saw were women.

FAQs about hotels in Málaga

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

There’'s also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.

A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.

From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

We really enjoyed Malaga and walking around al the various places but I wouldn't want to go in high season - it was already busy enough in early June. The Picasso Museum was brilliant and we really enjoyed the Glass Museum too which is well worth going to.

I liked the city, the turistic attractions and the people also. This was one of our favourite Holiday, we have to repate it, because we made a round trip in Andaluisa but couldn't finish all. We need to turn back minimum for an other week again. The ristorants and supermakrets are long opening, and the pubblic trasnoprt working always.

Malaga is a beautiful city bustling with Spanish culture and really easy to get with some great historic attractions PLUS fab beaches. It has great transport links and is really great value for money. The Historic centre is amazing climb up the Gilbrafaro and Alcazaba then visit El Palo and Pedregalejo for a brush with the locals eating Sardines for 2 euro and beer for 1 euro a proper busy afternoon spent people watching! The Mecardos Atrazanas is the tip top place to immerse yourself in Spain. Local stallholders shout above each other to sell their fruit, fish and meats in the most colourful stalls I have ever seen and there are cafes all around the edges of the market to stand, listen watch and love everything about Spanish life.

Malaga is great for a cultural city break not just beach.

Malaga is great for a cultural city break not just beach. It is full of museums and art galleries with an amazingly beautiful catherdral. Walk the street of the old city and eat amazing tapas, drink Spanish wine, and sample the cool world of the Picasso Museum, or going shopping in the the fine up market streets, then stroll in palm tree lined parks with watch the parakeets. For the more energetic and adventurous - climb the steps to the fort and castle and relax in the shady cafe at the top with a cafe con leche and fresh pastry the enjoy the view over Malaga and the port.

    Malaga is love!

Malaga is love! With sweet people everywhere and the perfect weather, the perfect landscape, its a reminder that life is beautiful and we need to slow down a bit! You get amazing beaches, to lots of amazing shopping places, Sangria to soothe you if the weather gets a bit hot! We stayed in the city centre of Malaga and later in Torremolinos centre as well. I visited in the month of May and the weather was just awesome. And yes, unlike other cities of Spain, Malaga is quite safe as we wandered around at 2AM in the night and there were people strolling everywhere with lighted streets. Also worth noting that the vibe and feel of this place resembles Gran Canaria a lot.

The hotel is in the Soho area of Malaga, which feels like it’s at the beginning of becoming up and coming. It’s not in the busiest area, so you get the piece of being away with only a 5 minute walk to either the old town or the beach. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. Everyone from the reception to the cleaning staff were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The second best thing was the air con! But we did go in August.

The hotel is very close to a Renfe station and therefore the airport, it has a very good location also being close to the beach and the old town. The room is clean, I think they even mopped the floor every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel. It is plus that they have luggage storage service. For example my flight left only at 20:30, and I did not have to worry about my luggage after checkout at 12:00.
