The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol
The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.

I liked the city, the turistic attractions and the people also. This was one of our favourite Holiday, we have to repate it, because we made a round trip in Andaluisa but couldn't finish all. Malaga is a beautiful city bustling with Spanish culture and really easy to get with some great historic attractions PLUS fab beaches. It has great transport links and is really great value for money. The Historic centre is amazing climb up the Gilbrafaro and Alcazaba then visit El Palo and Pedregalejo for a brush with the locals eating Sardines for 2 euro and beer for 1 euro a proper busy afternoon spent people watching! The Mecardos Atrazanas is the tip top place to immerse yourself in Spain. Malaga is great for a cultural city break not just beach. It is full of museums and art galleries with an amazingly beautiful catherdral. Walk the street of the old city and eat amazing tapas, drink Spanish wine, and sample the cool world of the Picasso Museum, or going shopping in the the fine up market streets, then stroll in palm tree lined parks with watch the parakeets. Malaga is love!
Malaga is love! With sweet people everywhere and the perfect weather, the perfect landscape, its a reminder that life is beautiful and we need to slow down a bit! You get amazing beaches, to lots of amazing shopping places, Sangria to soothe you if the weather gets a bit hot! We stayed in the city centre of Malaga and later in Torremolinos centre as well. I visited in the month of May and the weather was just awesome. And yes, unlike other cities of Spain, Malaga is quite safe as we wandered around at 2AM in the night and there were people strolling everywhere with lighted streets. Also worth noting that the vibe and feel of this place resembles Gran Canaria a lot.Guest review bymohanty

It’s not in the busiest area, so you get the piece of being away with only a 5 minute walk to either the old town or the beach. The best thing about this hotel were the staff.
