There is everything a good hostel needs - a place for cooking, drying clothes, coffee machine, very clean bathrooms, possibility to watch a street fight from the balcony (helped me to learn new Spanish words), and overall the hostel seemed quiet and nice. It is simple but everything is working and clean, so I definitely recommend it.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of city, Albergue Parroquial Santiago Apostol de Redondela is set in Redondela, 1.7 km from Castiñal Beach.

The albergue had a shared kitchen, showers and drying space downstairs and dorms upstairs. My dorm was good, the bed was comfy and the location was spot on. Just what I needed for a good night's sleep after a rainy day on the camino. Would stay again.

The apartment was fantastic – very clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished. Highly recommended! Fabiola was super friendly and very helpful, both with planning my arrival and with great restaurant recommendations for dinner

    The coastal view of REDONDELA is refreshing and offers an interesting backdrop of the place especially the towns and countryside we passed by walking from Vigo on our way to Santiago de Compostela. We wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

    The visitors center was a pleasant experience.

    The visitors center was a pleasant experience. We were given a map of the town and the top sites to see if you had the time. We walked through their main park and had hoped to walk to the beach that was one of their top attractions. Beautiful plants and birds nested in the marsh areas, and even though we didn't walk far enough to get to the beach we loved the nature that was there at the inlet.

    The only thing that disappointed me in Redondela, was a nearby restaurant "Casa Chano Restaurante". My son and I were very hungry and we were hoping for a "Pilgrim Menu". We walked in this restaurant and we were bowled over by the impeccable service. The lady even brought us complimentary empanadas. It seemed that two of the waiters spoke English. I was going for a fish dish that was under 15 Euros and my son had calamari that was reasonable. Well, they were out of the fish, so I pointed to a meat item. The large portion for a group is 35 Euro. The waiter said that I could have an individual portion for 12.50 euro. I was fine with that. We each had a beer and a flan for a dessert. I wanted to pay the bill so I gave my credit card and I was so pleased with the service that I gave $15 American dollars for a tip. One of the waiters who spoke English ran my card and it was not until I got back to my room that I had noticed that the bill was for 58 Euros. I was charged 35 Euros for the meat dish. I was flabbergasted as we were on a limited budget. I really felt it was only one person there because everyone else was exceptional. However, it did leave a sour taste.

    Fantastic Hostal in Redondela. Everything was new and clean. Nacho was really friendly and professional, contacting me beforehand with main door access code, help with baggage and advice on the Camino route for the next day. The room was seemed like it was newly decorated, bed was comfortable and the window looked out on a lush, green area. Best stay of my Camino.

    Warmly welcomed by owner Manuel who very enthusiastically showed us round his lovely, spacious home. Excellent facilities and very comfortable beds. Very central location for our group of six females doing the Portuguese camino. Manuel was very informative regarding advice for nice restaurants. Thanks for a lovely night's stay in Redondela 👍😊

    Augusto responds quickly to messages and is flexible with check-in timing. Everything is immaculate; he even prepares a herbal sachet for feet soak. Will remember Redondela for his warmth and hospitality. The place is right by the Camino route and is close to many eateries, a grocery shop and a laundromat.

    very proactive host, and an excellent single room. The location is perfect. Easy to to get in and out. The hotel also features a laundry room, which cost €4 for a wash and €3 for drying. I also appreciated that I could help myself to coffee whenever I wanted to, as well as small snacks.
