Food was nice, nice variety. Plenty of sun loungers available. Hotel is close to a nice beach and restaurants, nice promade along the beach. Lots of kids activities, golf, tennis, soccer. Lots of nice shaded areas too, to get shelter from sun.

Weather wasn’t the best. Then went through a natural disaster.
All things taken into account the resort lost power for 7-8 hours. Didn’t have water for a day.
Found the supermarket very expensive, a lot cheaper if you walked half a mile up the road.
Breakfast at la Hacienda ok.
Bad experience at Mai Tai. Waited 15 minutes to be served. Then they took my order and disappeared.
Table next to us had been waiting an hour for their food only to be told after that the oven had broken down.
I tried to ask the waiter about my drinks order who totally ignored me so we left.
The complex has not changed much in 20 years when i last visited. Everything in the apartments were the same.apart from the hob maybe. The doors didn’t open and close properly. Wi-Fi very poor. At least you could get British tv on.
Everywhere became slippery when wet.

We stayed at this hotel in April 2025 . Nice touch with the glass of bubbles on arrival. We stayed in room 1015 with a hot tub inside the room . The room was in a corner of the facility were views where obstructed and when we looked over the balcony the was some steel cylinders which where noisy. There was also building going on next to room . Service in the pool bar was very slow, with staff more interested in talking to each other, rather than serving the customers. While checking out we were advised that there was a taxi strike and with the bad weather some roads were flooded. I asked a member of staff if the hotel had organized some bus transfers , knowing that there was a taxi strike and they just told us that it wasn’t their responsibility. We ended up walking out to the main room to see if we could hitch a lift, thankfully soon guy and his mam gave us a lift . I don’t really put bad reviews up , but was really upset with the level of customer service.
This property is 2-minute walk from the beach. Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort is a resort is set in the town of Costa Teguise, on the island of Lanzarote.

Wonderful hotel, the location was perfect, it felt very secluded, with a quiet, peaceful environment, lovely helpful and informative staff, room was spotless large and very modern. The only thing to be mindful of was you had to be fast to get a sun lounger, but as we went out most days we didn't mind. Oh and the pool was heated 'fantastic' because the sea is cold but refreshing. Breakfast was a very selective continental, plenty for everyone. We would recommend this hotel. It's

We've been to Costa Teguise many times. It's not for people looking for clubbing into the wee small hours, it's got enough to feed you, keep you entertained and exercised as per your preference.

We like both CostaTequise & Puerto Del Carmen, plenty of bars and restaurants so the competition keeps the prices down. Both are close to the airport so just a short taxi ride to your accommodation.

We've been to Costa Teguise so often I couldn't say how often, so clearly my wife and I love it there. We tend to split our Lanzarote holidays between here and Puerto del Carmen, which we also love, and find they give us quite different holidays, with CT being that bit quieter, and if we had to choose, it's our favourite. Although I'm finding walking more difficult as I get older (73), nothing will stop my twice a day walk into the main part of town or towards the Playa Bastian/Santa Rosa area to enjoy the many bars and restaurants on offer in both areas. To be honest, walking in CT is easier than in PdC.

location - but the address was difficult to find on google maps. The name of the property is slightly different to the one advertised hence difficulty finding it.
liked the balcony with table and chairs to sit out for breakfast.
good drying facilities on the balcony - maiden with pegs - washing machine good facility.
kitchen well stocked.
some basic food stuffs in cupboard- teabags, coffee, oil, salt, vinegar etc was very useful.
good size fridge/freezer.
The room and area's around were spotless.
Staff were exceptionally friendly.
Kitchen was very well kitted out and had everything I needed.
Beds comfortable and fresh blankets were wrapped unlike in many other other hotels/apartments.
Maids very attentive and came daily (although my apartment didn't need cleaning daily.
Really enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Very central location. Large very comfortable rooms with a fridge included, comfortable beds, good shower. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. Pool area was nice and pool bar food was always available. Food was good for an all inclusive. No problem with sunloungers.
The hotel is centrally located in Costa Teguise with easy access to shops, bars and restaurants and very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The pool is a good size and was also lovely and clean.
All very nice. All inclusive food and drink. Food was good and plenty of it. Breakfast was particularly good and picnics organised if booked the day before. Pools were extensive. Appeared to be a nice hotel for families. I would have no problem returning.
