The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

Beautiful city, many things to do, good food, not overpriced. Clean , safe, friendly, great atmosphere, customer service genuinely good. You can rent a bike and ride around the city, but if you want you can wander around the historic centre. The park of Turia is to die for. A paradise. Valencia has a great atmosphere. There is plenty to see in the old city and it’s all close together so one can stroll through the old streets between sites. Don’t miss the fabulous central market .. buy a local wine or juice and take a look at the wonderful selection of products on offer. Enjoy La Lonja, the cathedral with the Holy Grail , the basilica and so much more. One can walk along the old river now a park to the city of sciences .. it’s a must see with the amazing science museum and aquarium. Plenty of public transport options. There are so many dining options available for every budget that offer some amazing value and some delightful places to stop and take a drink. Valencia is an absolutely beautiful city! It’s incredibly clean, with stunning places to visit and well-maintained in every aspect. The people are cultured, civilized, and stand out in a positive way compared to other cities, even operating at a much higher level. Everyone is friendly and smiling, the city is green everywhere, with amazing parks and a well-kept plaza.
