This is an exceptional hotel that had just opened a few days before our arrival. The staff were very helpful, and the property was beautifully designed. The on-site restaurant is excellent — we really enjoyed a buffet breakfast looking out over the harbor, and dinner one evening in the bar area. The location also puts you within walking distance of many local independent restaurants, and if you book any boat or sightseeing trips, you can simply walk from the hotel.

Very spacious room. Good bed and good pillows. Staff was super friendly. They have a microwave that you can use and even has frozen food on site on a fair price (same as a supermarket as far as we could tell), which helps a lot if you have many activities all day long and don’t want to spend too much on restaurants

Situated in quiet Runavík, a few hundred metres from the tunnel to go to Tórshavn, nice spacious room, very good pressure at the shower, excellent breakfast and extremely helpful staff, thank you very much for your hospitality and help (Annika and I don’t remember the name of the other lady).
If we visit Faroe Islands again, we will definitely stay at Runavik hotel.
