Situated in quiet Runavík, a few hundred metres from the tunnel to go to Tórshavn, nice spacious room, very good pressure at the shower, excellent breakfast and extremely helpful staff, thank you very much for your hospitality and help (Annika and I don’t remember the name of the other lady). If we visit Faroe Islands again, we will definitely stay at Runavik hotel.

The apartment is below the owner’s home. The parking is convenient. The bathroom is quite large and there is a full kitchen. The couch becomes quite a large bed. Loved the little local flairs in the kitchen. Owner is incredible responsive to any questions I had. Location is almost directly next to Gøta house museum and a 6 min walk to a small grocery store.

Central location and can use road #10 to avoid one of the more expensive subsea tunnels if you don't have a tunnel pass from the car rental company. The subsea tunnel to Torshavn and Klaksvik is very close. Container is roomy for one or two people. Kitchen had the necessary equipment to cook meals, equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine (did not use). There is a grocery store and a gas station in town.
