Overlooking the city and the blue waters of the French Riviera, Garoupe Lighthouse is situated on the top of a hill. The world-renowned summer festival of Jazz à Juan has showcased international jazz music artists since 1960.

A beautiful old town with plenty of character, history, art, old buildings and streets, as well as beaches, boats and nice restaurants. It is an easy place to holiday, with a good train service to the airport and along the coast.

We loved the friendly vibe in all shops, cafes, restaurants that we went to. It’s an easy city to stroll around and very photogenic with lovely architecture.
The walk along Promenade Amiral de Grasse is fabulous, views across to Juan les Pines and across to the Nice Côte d’Azur coast.
Definitely go to the Plage de la Gravette for a swim in the warm ocean.

We absolutely loved Antibes.
We absolutely loved Antibes. We were visiting during the first week of summer vacation (kids let out of school) so it was pretty crowded, however it never seemed like there were too many people.
The old town is blocked off from most cars which makes walking around town really nice. We loved the restaurants, food and nightlife. We loved our stay in Antibes!

Vibrant place. Differing areas to explore. Very hospitable locals. Sandy beaches and clean, warm sea near the town. Sun, culture, relaxation can be found easily. Access to more South of France and Northern Italy towns is easy using their train service.

It is a very picturesque old town, well worth a visit with a beautiful coastal walk into the old town which is full of narrow old streets with lots of bars and cafes. Antibes is very close to Juan Le Pins where there is a train stain. The trains are frequent and cheap making Nice , Menton and Trejus within easy reach for a daytrip.
The beaches are mainly pebbles but some do have sand and sea looked very good.
Wide choice of restaurants serving mainly Italian food however it was all excellent food. A small restaurant called Le Zinc had a wonderful sea bass dish which was outstanding.

The apartment is wonderful. Perfectly located in the centre of Antibes Old Town, but tucked down a surprisingly quiet side street with a roof terrace which gets the sun from morning until sunset (in July). The views from the terrace are lovely too - you can see right down to the harbour. The apartment is very clean and aircon was a saviour. In all, I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore Antibes.

This hotel is on a main road but is only across the road from the bus and train station. It’s only a few minutes walk to the port and old town. The staff were friendly and our room was ready when we arrived before the check in time so we could go straight to the room instead of leaving our luggage at reception. The room was clean and spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Journel Hotel Antibes-Juans-les-Pins. The hotel is in a really good condition. The room and the bathroom were nice, clean and spacious.
