Very helpful and obliging staff. Great view and location. With half board we had a range of good food with no repetition even though we were there for a week. The wait staff were wonderful and encouraging when we were testing out our very limited French.

Room was a lovely size with a big bathroom Breakfast was delicious each day! As was the evening meals we ate in the restaurant Staff were super friendly, we were able to leave our bags after we checked out and also shower in the spa after a mornings skiing before our flight! Great location too

Excellent location, next to the slopes / commerces (restaurants, little supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, ski rental…) all the essential things within 1-2mins walk. Autonomic check-in / out, very easy and smooth. The place is cozy. Corresponding the photos. Great view.

Quick access to some of the harder runs eg.

Quick access to some of the harder runs eg. Comborciere, Malgovert and Bois d'Ours without going up the Aiguille Rouge, but a bit tough to get home for less confident skiers down a fairly steep red run. Be careful of the new Secret red run parallel to the Comborciere if you're not keen on ice too! Much more of a village than Arc 1800 but restricted restaurant choice of 5 or 6 and very little nightlife. Most restaurants are OK but no standouts.

Nice resort close to the slopes.

Nice resort close to the slopes. The hotel wasn't exactly a 4-star hotel, but it was cozy. The table setting in the restaurant could be better, and the heating could be a bit higher. The meals were okay. The staff was very friendly, though.

The renovated hotel is comfortable and functional, and the staff is pleasant. The resort itself is in need of renovation; it's run-down and doesn't meet the expected standard or justify the prices. 1600 meters is barely enough these days, especially given the snow conditions at this time of year.

Arc 1600 is small and not very suitable for beginners.

Arc 1600 is small and not very suitable for beginners. Arc 1800 would probably have been better, but the free and frequent shuttle buses made up for it. Les Arcs is an ideal resort for pedestrians, including for reaching the summits and walking among the snow-covered slopes. Don't hesitate to buy a 1-day pedestrian pass.

Shuttles to Arc 1800 are available, and it's family-friendly and a 10-minute drive. Arc 1600 is more practical for children who are already ready to ski blue runs, as there's no beginner area for first turns. Lifts are expensive (a lift pass is required). Peisey-Vallandry is much cheaper for lift passes!

Beautiful ski area.

Beautiful ski area. Easily accessible by train to Bourg Saint-Maurice and then by convenient funicular up. Free ski buses run from Arc 1600 to Arc 2000 or to Arc 1800. However, timetables for these buses and a clear map of the stops are unclear or impossible to find online. Beautiful hikes, but the beginning of the trails is very difficult to find due to poor or no signage.

The place is very nice, location is perfect close to the slopes but quiet with a very nice view. We loved the interiors from Charlotte Perriand. Our kids said it was their favourite „hotel” The place has a good energy :)
